  1. I got a reply to my original email... here it is: Hello Alberto, sorry for the delay, was kinda busy last few days. Yes the blaster is available. Pricing is 350 EUR (excl. shipping and handling. Something around 25-30 EUR depending on which region in italy you live). Within the packet is a Sterling/E-11 replica made of aluminium and steel with a working folding stock, attached scope (no optical function), a detachable magazin, a greeble for the magazin slot and a working trigger with safety switch. The completion will take around 4 weeks. Payment is possible via bank account (IBAN/SWIFT) and will be payable after the blaster is finished and ready to ship. What is not included is the Hengstler counter and the tubestripes on the barrel. A tip for the tubestripes. I got mine from a MEPD member which was from malaysia and had access to some vintage drawer guide rail made of platic. Metal T-profiles from a local DIY market or something similar is also sufficient. Don't waste your money on windscreen wiper. They're way to instable and will wobbeling around on the barrel. Cheers, Jörg |TD-607
  2. Felice, please drop me an email or a weblink to see Your blasters, please
  3. I think that You need to use a tool like this one to soften and squash a little bit the pointed edges on the arm biceps. Please look at this thread : http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=13313
  4. Ohh, I'm so curious to see how this will turn out (always admired the ability to bring out exceptional things from plastic tubes)
  5. I also saw today Messika's Website and the only blaster seen there is this one: http://www.moviefx-business.com/Stormtrooper/Stormtrooper-3/Blaster.html ... but the pictures resolution is not so great.
  6. Yes, I sent an email at the maker... I hope to receive an answer soon. Thanks!
  7. Hi, yesterday I saw this website: http://joerg-wegmann.de/ba/ Seems that they're selling a 90% "full-working" (it doesn't fire for real ) aluminium replica of an E-11 Any of You have some info about it? Has someone purchased a replica from them and wants to share his impressions? Thanks, Alberto
  8. It was a pleasure also for me to meet You and Your girlfriend. The march in Modena City was fantastic... and also the pizza! Looking forward to have the possibility to troop again with You!
  9. Good luck bro'... as Pat said "should be an easy pass"
  10. but... the vintage siphon You found, have a code or a producer logo? ...maybe it would be helpful
  11. Yes, also we have rules about trooping and spotters (very often are the Imperial officers themselves that accomplish this task because they're are less encumbered than everyone else who wears a closed helmet) As an example, after our trooping at Cartoomic event, one of our Imperial officier collected some pieces from various costumes/armors... "who owns these?" This time, at Cartoomics, it was a choice to not wear the backpacks during the event. And it was quite impossible to move and troop outside our Tatooine photo-set. It is a decision that one can like or not (I like to wear the Sand backpack as much as possible, even if I feel myself more encumbered ... and even if I dislike my current backpack) ... and for that reason I'm currently working on a new screen-accurate backpack... finishing to collect the last missing bits... from here To be honest, at the end I agree whith the decision took by the organizers. For sure at PLAY-MODENA, on April 11 and 12, all our Sandtroopers will wear the backpack (more available space and not so overcrowded).
  12. Hi, just a simple question... I was trying to add my 501st ID number to my forum profile (my id # is: 9009) but, after many failed attempts, I was abled to add it only when adding a "ZERO" digit in front of my number. Is it the right procedure to follow? Do I have to use 5 digits even if my number was made by only 4? As now my displayed Id is "501st ID:09009" ... but I can see a lot of Sandtroopers here showing only a four digit Id code (as mine: 9009) Can anyone give me some aid? Cheers, Alberto
  13. Backpack was dropped during the main exibition (we left it at the Tatooine set) because there were soo many visitors and children around us. It happened in past time that Sandtroopers, with Big Guns and Backpacks on, sometimes hit a visitor while moving or turning without notice it. (also our imperial helmet is a real pain when we have to chech something small - like an enthusiastic child - wo is in front of you or at your side and You need to turn or move). So, this time, it was a choice to not have the backpacks on. They can be seen on the pictures of the Tatooine photo-set, on the ground. I'm working now on a new backpack that will be more screen accurate than the one I'm currently using.
  14. True! I have a Sandtrooper backpack that, for my taste, is not so screen accurate as I would like... so I purchased all the vacuform pieces, tupperware and boyscout backpack alluminium frame needed to build it again. We are lucky nowadays... because we have a lot of great and hi-res reference images. With the aid of a friend of mine, TD6187, I guess I'll have it ready soon (I have time to work on it only on Sunday afternoon, after driving to TD6187 house). Anyway we decided to drop off all the Sandtrooper backpack during the main event, leaving them at our Tatooine display-set, because there were too many visitors and children around us willing to take a pictures with us. With big guns and the backpack on, it happens sometimes that we hit someone as we walk or turn without notice it (so encumbered) ... and with a lot of children around us it is a thing we don't like
  15. After a long stop (I got married, I had a son ... lost my job... found a new job... etc) I'm posting some pictures about me at Cartoomics 2015. This event took place in Milan - Italy - on March 13, 14 and 15. 501st Italica Garrison and Rebel Legion Italian Base have recreated display area set in Tatooine (I wrongly posted the same pics on "Off Topic Cantina" thread... so please remove it, if possible) As now THIS is the best Sandtrooper picture I took so far. ... soo proud of it. In my heart it is a Win Win! "To Serve and Protect" or "The Charm of the Uniform" and this one is another picture that I like a lot: me (during an Imperial military duty on Tatooine) with my son, Riccardo. ------------------------ Adding some more pics of the event. More to come
  16. Adding some more pics of the last event I took part: Cartoomics 2015 - March 13, 14, 15 - Milan, Italy. 501Italica Garrison - Italy
