  1. Thank you! One year, to the date, but I have worked when I had the time for it. Intensivly, cut in half, I suppose? It all depends on how much spare time you have and most importanly how much time you have been spending doing research. and this is the place to do it
  2. Finnally, my approval went thru today! Soooo proud, exited and eager to troop. Gonna enjoy this moment a couple of day before I dare to take the big plunge of trying to be approved as police officers! [/url [/url
  3. Took my armor for a test spin for the first time ever fully suited up! So excited right now! Approval application was sent to the GML today. Fingers crossed [/url[/url[/url[/url
  4. Hi everyone, someone informed me that the fee was set by troopers themselves to rent a cabin nearby for social aftertroop events. Sorry that it made me jump to conclusions.
  5. Thank you, I will consider that Rolf
  6. Hm, we feel the same way, I guess. Guess I stay away from those type of events then... Hope to see you too Rolf, you have some GREAT looking armor!
  7. Hi everyone, I very new to the legion and have spent the 2012/13 finishing my TD. Eager to troop, with my brand new armor on the brink to approval I stumbled over some info about the famous troop in Legoland, Billund, Denmark. In the info it said that troopers "had to pay a fee to get into the troop." I don´t know the details ref. to the fee (prize/why), BUT the concept of paying to do charity yells "WRONG" in every way. My intensions for joining were to raise money for sick children.... Not work for a big company for free, and paying for aswell? Should not LEGO donate money to the Legion? Not the other way around? Troopers pay for all the expences themselves, traveling, accomidation, etc. LEGO gets allot of free working professional extras wich they use extensivly to raise ticket sales. This smells like a bad deal, were people in suits exploits the welldoing of people in cooler suits. What do you guys think?
  8. Are we there yet? (Donkey from Shrek) Yes, I belive we are! Approval application sent to GML today! Hoping to join you guys very soon
  9. Shins and thigh are not closed in the back yet.
  10. Thank you, but I was thinking about his shoulder pouch, wich seems to be only three slots, with no extra fourth small tool pouch <a href="http://s1309.beta.photobucket.com/user/larskaarud/media/Skjermbilde2013-03-13kl001752_zps68b874c8.png.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1309.photobucket.com/albums/s640/larskaarud/Skjermbilde2013-03-13kl001752_zps68b874c8.png" border="0" alt=" photo Skjermbilde2013-03-13kl001752_zps68b874c8.png"/></a>
  11. Haha, a dewbackcostume could be fun, but I´ll stick to the idea of being approved The black webbing is actually an elastic band, just with a different texture. I had meters of it laying around... It´s the same around the biceps. I wanted to try velcro after reading about it somewhere on the forum, I had that at home as well, and it works fairly well. The quality wasen´t industrial, but I want to try it out, and if it works I´ll stick to it No poun intended.
  12. Doc

  17. Thanks guys! Great tip on removing more of the tops of biceps, because when I lift my arms up, the bells follow and it looks kinda weird. ALL tips on legs are appreciated. I have been nervous about even starting on them for the last two months!
  18. Wow! That´s so cool, looking forward to join the Nordic Garrison!

  21. Hello everyone. I am building my first set of armor aiming to join the 501st and MEPD. Halfway into the build I wondered if you guys could be so kind to give med som feedback/advices on my progress? Since it´s my first time I´m rather insecure about the all the details, how well the armor fits together etc. I haven´t started on the legs yet, and I´m missing details like ab buttons and belt. Please be kind, like I said..first timer...
