To be honest Marcus, I have been using the photos of Rolfs RS suit as a guide for my build.that is very nice set of armour,ok so it does look identicle to my RS,and in my opinion is a complete recast!
but no proof as yet,so you got a good set at a good price!

Hi Guys,
Here are some photos of my T21 build. I used Pandatroopers thred & it has taken around 75 hours to build. I am going to fit it with one of Anthony Baileys sound & light setups when funds permit, (Armor to finish first). I do plan to eventually build all 3 of the BFG's aswell as an E-11.
Hope you like it.

OK Guys,
Here are some photos of the NE Armor & my progress so far as promised. Since the photos were taken i have fixed the butt plate to sit right & i was only holding the chest & back in place. I have also completed the arms. the thighs are still the original AM ones, but yes the rest dose look like RS. I will be going for approval with a different helmet to the one that came with the kit.

I have this armor aswell!!!and an rs yes they look the same but...it is way bigger,,the lid,,,no way will be approved becouse the ears sit to low,,i am going to make some longer ears and see if i can get it approved,,,i like it becouse it fits my fat a$$
Hi walt, I have seen the issues on the FISD with the ears, & it looks like they are trying to get to much of the ear under the helmet. if you look at other helmets the ears are pulled backwards from the bottom & don't go completley underneath. I have an eFX i am going to use for (Police officer) only & will weigh up what to do come swat time.

Well said Andrew. And really at the end of the day getting Out there in armor making kids smile is what it's all about
Thanks Rick.

I have nearly completed building my TD from one of these NE kits. I am well aware of what everyone has been saying about them & at the time of my order they were still AM. I will have some photos up soon so you can all judge for yourself. At the end of the day all i want to do is get out there have some fun & go trooping! I ordered AM origionally for it's size & although i have had to add some shims to the sides, it still fits someone with a larger frame quite well.
Andrew.
P.S. not all of us can afford TM or RS Armor.

Great looking piece of work.

Hi Chris,
I am nearly finished & am just about ready to "Get Dirty". it is a fairly straight forward build but the forearms are a bit of a nightmare to get right. good luck with the build.

That is sensational, Love it !!!!!!!!!
-
Alex,
Congratulations & well done. an excellent build !
Andrew.

Congratulations Simon,
After all the effort you have put in, your deployment is well worth it. Great job !!!

Hi Fergus,
I am in the middle of building an NE kit which is .090ABS & haven't had any issues. I have been scoring & snapping the edges rather than use the dremel which takes a bit longer, but you end up with a nicer edge. It is quite glossy but I will be covering it in dirt.

Hi Chris,
I have just finished putting the legs & arms together on the new NE kit & am busy doing the body at the moment. the forearms are a bit of a bugger but do work out fine if you measure 10 times & cut once. i am 6ft and around 220pounds & have cut a fair bit out of the legs & arms & they fit perfect, i will however have to put some small shims between the kidney & ab plate as the mid life spread just won't budge!!!!!. NE was the old AM and was designed for larger troops originally. it is still slightly bigger but is now a more accurate armor.
Thanks
Andrew.

Thanks Anthony. Will definatley be getting one of these.

Hi anthony,
These are magnificent. Is this the set up that is $110 plus postage in your T21 sale thread.

Trav,
In the middle of doing the same for my son, i have done the blaster, bandolias & mask, brought the material but then my armor turned up & the Jawa came to a screaming holt!!!. hope to have it all finished for both of us by July (Comic Con or Supa Nova Australia) can't remember which is first. keep up the great work.
Andrew.

Excellent!! Then I'm in for one aswell.
-
Do you need to be approved to order one ?
-
Frank,
I like D, it's a real in your face shot with the e11 up close & A for the backdrop (classic sceen).
-
Hi Lee,
Your could also check out the FISD as well. They also list all the approved fabricators.
-
If you go bigger than 20-22, will it still be SWAT approved or do you need to start shimming the buggery out of the thighs.
Andrew.

This is perfect timing. I was about to ask the same question. I was always led to believe that it was 25mm. My question was is it 25mm for every strip on the armor.

WTF?, I'm with you Nick. They won't be happy until they get everything their own way.
