  1. Dude, I want one maybe two. How much do you think it will be? What is it made of?
  2. Just got my Trooper1 Pauldron today!!! It is totally AWESOME!!!! Thanks again Jay
  3. Wow guys!!!! Once again MEPD rises to the occasion and offers up maximum help. Thanks guys, I am glad the ideas came in because I was about to put my bucket on and spray in some expandable foam to see how that works. LOL. Do not try this at home!!!
  4. I am trying to go for the light effect that can be seen form the side too. I took the guts from a Hasbro E-11. Thought I would try it out. As far as the bucket goes. I just have a big ol' melon. What about the hard hat liner thing, any luck with that?
  5. Thanks Jay. I thin I may make a trip to the store tomorrow. I am willing to try anything at this point. Can't wait to get that pauldron too. I did not get to go out of town after all. Uuuuuuugh! All these little things are just killing me. I am so close to being done. I am also building my MG-15 and I was going to put some sort of lighting the barrel and can't find the right lighting. Uuuugh!!!
  6. Ok guys, I have tried the foam padding for the helmet, I have tried the military helmet pads and both did not work for me. My last attempt toget my bucket to stay on my melon is the construction helmet suspension system. I need suggestions and help. I am not sure what else to do. Thanks in advance Patrick
  7. I use this very same set up thanks to Dirty Boy. It totally works!!!!
  8. Awesome!!! Thanks Hawk Eye. I love it when people share MEPD ROCKS!!!!!
  9. Yeah, I am curious too. I am in the process of building a MG-15 and I am using templets created by Dashrazor. So far,I have found the shroud barrel to be the most difficult to perfect. I have invested about 10.00 USD for the PVC and 20.00 for the front scope. My question is what did you use for hte snooper scope and the other rear scope?
  10. It's a Liberty (2008). Just out of warranty and not cheap to fix. lol
  11. Stay Strong bro. Wife and I are praying for you.
  12. I feel ya. I have been trying to save my $$ so I can order my field pack and wouldn't ya know, my jeep needed repairs.... Uuuuuuuuuugh! back to the drawing board. Oh and not to mention my brother got kicked out of his house (going through divorce)and he is staying with my wife and I (poor guy, he has had it rough). The drama continues.
  13. Hey John, What is the exact length of the barrel shroud and the upper reciever? I am in the process of building my MG-15. I know the overall length is 42-44". Thanks in advance Patrick
  14. Hey Bonded Hawk, Just checking to see if anyone PM'd you regarding the scopes. I am looking for them too. Stay Safe Patrick
  15. Hey Ryss, Just wondering, Did you buy those directly from Cushmans? If so, how long did it take to get? Thnaks in advance. Patrick
  16. You guys ROCK!!! Thanks. I will be in touch soon.
  17. Hi Guys, I was wondering, Where can I get the seed trays and what are the dimensions of the trays??? I am considering getting started on a pack soon. I just discovered that I have a bunch of 1/2" pvc laying around and that will be part of my frame. Also, is there a build thread regarding the frames? Also, if anyone has some reference pics of the roadblock sergeant who is carrying the MG-15 that would be cool because that is the pack I am trying to get together. If possible, I will order the rest of the parts from Dirty Boy. Thanks Patrick
  18. Awesome!!! Since you are familiar with building from your previous Trooping experience, you know the wise advice of go slow and have lots of fun getting dirty. I am nearing the end of my build. I just need to build MG-15, get pack from Dirty Boy and dirty up my armor. Please post pics if possible. Have fun!!!!!
  19. Thanks for the encouragement guys. I have been taking my time and trying to do it right the first time. I ran into some snap issues (kept popping off) and decided to go industrial velcro for most of the build. Question, what is the best way to weather my arnor? I have some Fuller's earth from Trooper Bay, but I recently watched Pandatroopers video's on weathering and I am kinda leaning towards his paint meathod. Thoughts?
  20. Hi all, Just wondering in regards to Pandatrooper's ATA helmet Build, has anyone followed his measurements such as the 1.25" he cut from the brow/face. Is it safe for me to do the same and use the same measurement? If not, how can I determine what is best for me? Thanks in advance. Patrick
  21. Update. Finished belt and getting ready to move on to helmet (ATA).
  22. I have rounded the corner of getting close to finishing the biggest portion of my first armor build and decided to test it out. I still need to finish belt, build helmet, get pauldron, get back pack from Dirty Boy, and build MG-15 for my Road Block Sergeant version. Oh!!! and get it dirty!!! Sorry if the pictures are bad(phone camera). The armor is AM and I chose to build with the butt joint method. I am almost 6'-4" and 240lbs. I am happy with the outcome so far. Still trying to get the sides of the butt plate to pull in closer to my hips. other than that, all is well with a huge thanks to Dirty Boy for his awesome coaching. Thoughts?
  23. Yep those are very similar to what I have. I haveused the very same type in the past with no problems but for some reason they are popping off.
