  1. I'm a little late to the party but I'm researching this backpack right now and the round greeblies on the brexton box are most likely damage. Either scratches so the original color (white or transparent ?) shines through or dents with chipped paint. If you have the bluray edition go to the end of the alley check scene when the captain says something like "check the next door". Our guy turns around and you can see it's some kinda damage on the box. He's gotta be in motion though, pausing the movie turns it blury again. For the filterbox: I think that's the lamella box thingy. It's way too dark to see it clearly but all the artifacts (which also show up in your picture) from image compression go kinda perpendicular and are parallel to each other. This is what I'm talking about: https://photos.app.goo.gl/JPekeIS3R6Unbhr73
  2. I'm not a firearms expert but shotgun shells are closed at one end of the "pipe" where the metal part starts that actually ignites the powder in there when hit by this little hammer thingy in the gun. Right ? So were the "shotgun shells" used in the movie backpacks also closed at one end or left open ?
  3. Hey there, I'm still on doing research and building my backpack (WIP Thread will follow) and your color pattern / weathering technique is just the look I was looking for. A fellow garrisson member told me about this mixture that was more oil colored than the lightbrown/yellow color sand would have. This is the tutorial I'm gonna use to convert my TK to TD I guess. 2 questions though: I might not find the exact same oaint here in germany, do you think drying / resting times might differ even though I use the same quality water based paints ? And is that natural sponge dry or wet ? Thanks in advance !
