I did some major work on my thighs this weekend as well as weathered my pack. I basically got rid of the velcro system I had on the backs of the thights. I shaped them so the opening around the knees is tighter. I filled it all in with bondo and smoothed it all out. I was able to paint them but I have no wethered them yet. I am hoping to do that tonight and post pics tomorrow. I did encounter a new problem. I cant fit my feet through the thighs if i have my boots on. Does anyone else have this problem?

Our fearless CO sent me a text witha photo of the Ab detail I need to add. Thanks boss, forever working tirelessly to make us all better troopers. However, I just did a search for the "battery method" and cant find anything. Before I go an re-invent the wheel this weekend, does anyone have any suggestions on how to add this detail? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys. I will add some more weathering to the pack and fix the right thigh rearand cvoer strip. I amwill not suresure which weatheringone needs to be removed and what rivet detail needs to be added. Can i get some clarifocation on that? Thanks.

I am in the process of getting estimates for golf towels with printed or embroidered logos. I will post tbe info here. I figured golf towels would be good for golf or after troop uses.

here is the moved/angled siphon/cistern: I ordered a new end cap so once I get it I will shorten the mortar tube and replace the radar dish. I will glue coverstrips on the backs of my thighs and weather them this week. Other than that, is there anything else you guys would suggest? I would like to find some time to get new pics of me in my armor before I go away for a week this Saturday.

Not sure what you mean by the cistern. I dont see what you are reffering to in the screen cap. Do I need to move my mortar tube? If so where does it get attched? It is connected to the frame as it is. Do my thighs need cover strips too? I dont mind doing the work, I am just confused at what needs to be done and not sure how to do som of it. Thanks

Other than the shortening of the mortar tube are there any other mods that need to be done? I think i have addressed everything. Hopefully I can get suited up this weekend.

here are the newly shaped thighs: Let me know if this is the correct shape of the peaks on the out side of each thigh. I also sanded down the insides and the cover strips to make them look more accurate. I hope my interpretation works. If this is the correct shape I will weather them up, shorten the mortat tube (need to get new end cap because it is glues on and I cant get it off) and the suit up for new pics. Let me know if there is anything else. Thanks for all the help and encouragement everyone.
