I used 2 inch white elastic but doubled it up to eliminate some of the extra elasticity, mostly for the shoulder bell attachment so it wouldn't pull it and create a bunching effect.
-
I built my sandtrooper to Centurion specs but obviously ignored/added features to make it a sandtrooper.

I love my hyperfirm. I just wish they would make a bapty version. I'll have to get a bapty soon anyways but no way I'm spending that much and risk getting it damaged at a troop.

Swap out the screws that came with the thermal detonator with the screws on the ears. It's more accurate. You obviously won't need the thermal detonator for a sandy though.

Get the sewn on. The Dritz #10 are very easy to find.

So when are you submitting for 501st approval?

I can vouch for blaster8266 as well. I picked up two leather MP40 and the cloth one with the little pouch. Top notch quality!
-
That's fantastic. Looks like real metal

For basic membership my GML had me wear my leather MP40 pouch on my right hip and the other on my shoulder. I had a hard time coming up with a strapping method and since I only planned to wear this like that one time ever, I used packing tape and taped it on.

Payment sent for 20 stickers, Transaction ID: 5KY67807682225637
Let me know if I owe more, I had to use my debit card instead of bank account and it charged me a $0.91 fee to do so. I don't want to be short on your end.

Yep, you can cut out those notches for your sandtrooper. Sandtroopers get built the same as TKs just without the square ab button piece and black paint stripes, 3 buttons instead of the 4, and diamond knee plate. The Anovos kits do not come with the parts for TDs so hopefully you kept your AP pieces. If not, hit up trooperbay or another vendor to source those the diamond knee plate and 3 button piece.

Check the distance of those tube stripes. You want them about a pencil width away from the top of the tube.
-
I'm pretty sure he means he offers the alternate pieces like the many other vendors do. You'll still have to assemble and weather it yourself. RT-MOD, AM2.0, and the newly updated AP are all great kits for bigger/taller troopers.
-
IMO it still looks very white. You can try to dull it up a bit with some heavily diluted brown/black and blot it on and let it dry. Find a SWAT submission for the trooper you're emulating and study it. Takes a lot of trial and error with weathering.

Go to Walmart or any home improvement store. They have them for a couple bucks. You can try them on so you get the right size. I got mine from Home Depot

Payday next week, will send it in before deadline.

Think of it this way, would you rather hang out on a cruiser or be on the ground getting real work done? Welcome to the dirty side!
-
You can certainly use the Anovos TK suit for a sandtrooper but that kit does not come with the different ab button or knee plate. Vendors like ATA, AM2.0, AP, and pretty much all the vetted vendors offer the ability to go TK or TD in their kits.

Congratulations! Where did you get your original strapping screw from and what are the sizes? I will need to do the same thing
