Congratulations!

Thanks. all pictures were submitted now the wait for ID :-)
The most anxious time! I submitted right before EP7 premier and I was praying for approval on opening day but so many people were doing the same. Got it a few days later though.
-
Nice progress. Looks like the color of Walt's 3 button piece matches pretty well too. Well if it didn't, it'd be ok too since its getting weathered anyways.
-
Awesome work!

2. Link all SWAT profile images to their ACTIVATED threads-This will help clear up any issues troopers may have with the process and allow them to view comparable troopers
THIS. That will be very a great source of information for myself and others who want to pursue SWAT level builds. It can be very difficult jumping around numerous threads and pages to find the info. I'm pretty sure I've view millenium1's SWAT submission photos a thousand times.

Dang those are sexy. Hope there's another run cause I will definitely want more. I'm going to put one on my Husky armor bin and clear coat over it.
-
Off to a great start! E6000 is very forgiving and removing seepage is very easy by just using your fingernail. Don't forget to pull off the thin plastic protector on the armor pieces.
-
Where do you stand with your submission?
-
That is so awesome. Gonna need those as a t-shirt, patch, and wallpaper please.
-
I can see this being a cool badge that is a MEPD exclusive thing. Not CRL or level but just a unique identifier. Don't think it's something for me personally but it is a cool concept.
-
Awesome work! Love that T-21! I'm definitely going to need one of those some day.

Get a clean mason jar or baby foot jar and put some small pieces of abs in and then add just enough acetone to barely cover it. Wait an hour or so and mix it with a craft stick or something similar. I always let mine sit overnight and I bought some cheap throw away craft brushes from walmart to brush the paste on. The smoother you get it on the less pain to sand it. You want to let the ABS paste dry for a day. If you rush it it'll be spongy like texture. Need to give it time for the acetone to fully evaporate.
-
If you think about it, a sandy started off clean and shiny but went out to the dunes to do real work. You don't get too dirty on an imperial cruiser in space.
-
That is awesome! You have some skills! I would love that as a shirt. Any chance you can make the colored version in multiple sizes for a desktop background?
-
Everything is looking good, you'll go crazy overthinking things. Try to keep some scrap ABS for potential ABS paste
-
Thanks guys, yeah I had to cut them up. Lots of sanding and forming with abs paste. Weathering has hidden the imperfections well.
No way I could ever go clean with my current kit. Way too many scratches and imperfections that are strategically covered.
-
Awesome work, nice to see a face since I've only read your posts or heard your voice for years now.
-
Good luck on your approval. Shouldn't have any problems.
-
Don't forget to remove the return edge down by the wrist area.
-
Improvise, overcome, and adapt! I will be doing this here shortly! Thanks guys!

For basic entry you can remove the 4th button with the part that comes with Anovos. It's not perfect by any means but it'll get you basic entry. I would highly recommend hitting up Walt from WTF on whitearmor or one of the many great vendors we have in the community for the real part though. We like to show off the slit that the 4th button hides on our armor
-
I have definitely been referencing that thread by Tony, it's incredible! Sets the bar for how-tos pretty high. And I'm sure if Anovos offered a TD it would come with an accompanying price tag. I'm happy to put the work in myself and have a truly unique and personal set of armor
That's why I can't recommend Anovos after the Celebration pricing. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice kit that has been sterilized of "imperfections" but their normal prices are ridiculous.
-
Looking great! If you get stuck on something, one of our SWAT members ukswrath has a very detailed Anovos build thread over on whitearmor
-
I hope you meant 1st of March and not May lol

It looks like you're missing your rivet for your thigh knee pack. Do you just have it glued on?
