  1. Hi Zac, The syphon is the one that I am selling in this thread.......Cistern For Sale Then I use a Rubbermaid Serving Saver and hamburger stacker for the rings. I did a few more work yesterday. Make the exhaust port from scratch. Just use some aluminium tubing that I have then vaccumform it. Then finish it up with some rib hose and tubing. I also got the tool box done. Box is from scratch. The lid is from a Tupperware container. Next is finishing up the bell.
  2. Yes. It keeps the straps together and tuck under the chest plate.
  3. Thank you troopers. I got that paint at Lowe's. Yeah, I plan to put a sound system in the pack. Have all the sound board and speaker ready and probably use those switches on the radio to control it. I'll do this once I got the pack together. I did some progress today. Not much but got a few parts fasten to the main trays. Still working on a few molds for the tool box, bells and exhaust port. Bee Stinger...faucet cover and some "thing" I found at Harbor Freight. Then I made a bracket out of aluminium strip to attach it to the lower tray. Mortar tube and dish. Tube is a 2.5" butyrate and dish is a Tupperware lid. Shotgun shells - roller from a calculator tape. Straps and cushion......for comfy.
  4. Since I cannot edit my radio thread, I thought I just make a new thread about my work in progress pack. Frame - make from scratch. Originally is an aluminium external frame from an old backpack. Cut it and narrow it down to fit my trays. Then I pain it with a Plastic Dip spray paint hopefully it won't scratch my armor. Cistern - make from scratch - combination of siphon, Rubbermaid container and Tupperware hamburger stacker. So pretty much merge the container to the siphon and I cut out the rings out of the hamburger stacker and glue it to the container. This is what I got so far. I do have the bells, toolbox, beestinger and the exhaustport. But they are not ready yet.
  5. Just showing my work-in-progress on my radio. I have other parts that are ready, but for now lets hold on those. Basic radio is from Crashman. I will show those other parts as WIP of my backpack.
  6. Thanks guys. I have the radio box mold...but I need to rework on it. Currently working on some other parts. Will post pics as soon as I have something to show. Thanks Az

  10. We burnt some midnight oil last night We pulled quite a few trays. I am ordering more plastics and taking more order. Please PM me if you need trays and any other info. Thanks A
  11. Mine is 1/2" OD and 3/8" ID. So I guess the wall thickness is 1/16" HTH
  12. Sorry..............haven't been here as often as I want to. Here are the one that we do make. Ther are formed out of .093 black ABS. Pictures shown are version 1 - the ridges are 3/4". Now we have version 2 - with smaller ridges - 1/2". PM me for pricing and shipping cost. Thanks
  13. Yes, this is a pic of the real TK boots that they used in the movie. Not sure if they they still retail them. But if you can find something close enough...that should work. Just spray them with white leather paint. That boots in you link looks very close. Should only have 3 seams - 2 on the side and 1 at the back.
  14. You are correct TM. We have pulled quite a few dome shapes molds and always have that problem - especially in the Winter time. It is unavoidable. Pro molding company usually have heating element in their mold and that cost thousand of dollars. BTW, AP is using .08 ABS versus US propmakers who use.09 ABS (standard for US ABS plastic.) Little tip - buy you armor in the Spring and Summer time.
  15. Here is a link from the RPF. Make your own judgement....................... http://www.therpf.com/index.php?showtopic=...5entry1231805
  16. I think that is part of the straps that connecting the ab plate to the chest plate. Chek this pic.....they are white strap.
  17. Thanks Paul. So how do you hold the thigh pieces up.? Are you using an independent inner belt ?
  18. Great info Jack , I am putting together an ANH armor right and did just as you described. Added note - on the shoulder straps - the rear rectangle shapes should be cut out. Just curious. Looking at these 2 pics, is there an inner belt running across the abs plate. There are rivets just under that ridge. Or are those rivets were for the straps that go down the thigh pieces? You can also all those black straps underneath the abs plate.
  19. BTW, I do have ANH helmet decals (TK and TD) and the blue tube only. PM me for details.
  20. I think it is a slide switch - not a toggle switch. From that pics that Rocko posted, it looks like the switches is sliding up and down versus side to side. Here is the switch that I am using.
  21. Here a few more pics added on the progress showing the raw parts.
