Thanks Trooper1, I might have to keep that in mind then about the AM.... The angle of the self pic has a lot of shading so you really see the shimming badly in that photo but it is not as bad as it looks. I used putty to make the edge somewhat invisible and looking at it more straight it looks decent. Not perfect I guess. If I can drop about 3 more inches of my legs I could go for the RT I guess

I am hoping to get my hands on a set of AM thighs eventually since I should be able to fit those according to the measurements. Plus I am still losing weight so that helps too haha

I just have to continue losing weight I guess and invest in a new set of thighs perhaps from a different set. I already dropped about 35 lbs but I lose it everywhere except the legs haha.

well... they are pretty tight since I am blessed with thunder thighs I was thinking about velcro but I do have to be able to pull my thighs up first without ripping and pulling on my compression pants. I just went to walmart and bought some of this non-slip liner stuff in the kitchen isle and going to glue some of that on the inside of the thighs and then run around a bit once it is dry lol! Hopefully that works because I am going to do a 1 mile walk in the armor for a charity this Saturday!! I added foam in my arms and that works like a charm! P.S. I do envy you troopers with them skinny legs though!

lol, I was actually having my belt extra loose so I could push it down and show the separation for the picture. I was being very clumsy trying to take a self picture When I wear the armor in a normal way you can't really see the gap because it sits right under the belt. I guess I could trim the butt plate a little so you would be able to see it? wow going for Swat?? me?? I wasn't really thinking about that haha. I just now noticed that the corners of my belt are more rounded! I will fix that asap!

I noticed when I was walking around in my suit the other day that my thighs started to turn inwards after a bit. This looks weird and having to stop and adjust them every few minutes or so looks weird too. It wasn't so bad when I was doing test fits over my jammies but when I was wearing my black heat compression pants it seemed more slippery or something. Is there a sollution for this?

Hi guys, I figure I will post up my pics for approval. I also send in my pictures for 501st approval yesterday to my LMO so my "TD" status is pending. I figure I just get 2 balls rolling at ones *giggles* Anyway, here for your enjoyment and critical eye and words of encouragement and improvement... the photos for my MEPD approval to become an officer in your ranks Miranda McHenry TD 7107 (TD status pending approval) Spoox Alaskan Outpost Here you can see the detail of the white shoulder strap and that it is indeed white elastic, and the tube stripes are the correct blue Shot of the inside of helmet to show green lenses and cut out teeth Some action shots: I'm watchin' youuuuu Coulda sworn I saw that darn droid in there? Aaaaaaand.... me! Armor is mainly FX that I rebuild and modded to become acceptable for TD by cutting out the ab detail and rebuild it to the TD details: The shins and biceps are AM. The upper thighs were the hardest to modify since being female and having thunder thighs I had to do a lot of shimming. I tried to modify the shimming and make it as much invisible as possible and I guess it doesn't look too bad. I reshaped to top front of the thighs a bit as I never liked the FX shape. I also reshaped the bottom of the AB plate of the FX some and used the heat sealer tool to re-bend the edge. My guns: T-21: My E-11: My pouches: I hope these are enough pictures I am excited and I am hoping to do a 1 Mile walk this Saturday in the suit for a charity already! Thanks guys! I really am having a blast working on this! It is so much fun reading everyone's builds on here and learn and then get your hands on your own parts... hmm that sounded bad huh? Anyway.. bad news dun dun duuuuun! I think I am finished! All I need to do is put the fan in my bucket and that's it. I might do a fit today and have hubby take pics if he is up to it Here the pictures of my final updates on the suit. I didn't take pictures of every detail I guess but this is the last I did. Weathered my T-21: And... This I am really excited about... my modified German pouch that now looks like a medium Spanish pouch Oh and I added the sidepipe and disc: Also the strapping and pouch: Time for test fittings!!! Wuhooo!!!
