  1. Thank you! I have thought about a full scale stand... It would be an expensive project though. I would have to print it in sections, then assemble it, cast it. ... I don't know if people would pay that much for a stand. I plan on re creating that one from the ground up though. Mark at CFO suggested doing an AT-ST leg for ROTJ mini helmets. I could do an AT-AT leg or a Bespin style design for ESB helmets. Maybe a Tatooine "lock the door R2" for TD mini lids? I like the Tie Fighter Wing idea... But I might like to do a Death Star design as well.
  2. Also working on some mini helmet stands ... The one shown below is a rough concept. I'll have them 3D printed and casted.
  3. Thanks guys! Yes, I completely hollowed it out, cut the eyes and teeth out. I added lens material, neck trim, foam maple leaf, chin straps with snaps. And I even put in real screws and nuts for the ears. I'm also 3D printing some 1/3 scale hove mic tips. Those shipped today! I had Mike at Trooperbay.com make me the tube stripes, although I smudged the one side. But it should be an easy fix.
  4. Should be within a couple weeks now, and I'll have something to show.
  5. Carsten doesn't make them anymore, he turned them over to his friend Chris. I bought two recently from Chris on RPF. Here's my thread on the 1st one (show below)
  6. Yeah, it took a while ... It was worth it though! I see a lot of stuff that you just couldn't before.
  7. Go through my photo page ... I captured a lot of new shots from that scene.
  8. The dirt and oil would have beaded on the surface of the plastic, that's why it looks spotted like that. A lot of it (if not all) was brushed and blotted with a cloth. But the oil is really the key ingredient.
  9. My BluRay software had an update, and now my SW disks play great. I took a bunch of new screen grabs last night. ANH BluRay Captures

  11. I adjusted the mortar tube positioning, and made my end caps n control panel today. I think it looks a lot better.
  12. I have some 2 1/2" PVC pipe I can sell you. Like I said though, it's not the lightest stuff. But if interested, send me a PM. J
  13. Depends on the material, quality, and the model. I've had quotes from $200 to $4000. I plan on casting it though when I get it.
  14. Thanks guys! But I don't think I mounted the mortar tube right, so I'll have to fix it. I'm vacuum forming my own end caps and control panel for the mortar tube. I'm also having my own Radio faceplate 3D printed, hope to be getting that back in a couple weeks. After that, it's just the radio assembly, and the straps ... I think? Oh and the weathering. .
  15. More work done on the pack recently ...
  16. This may be a stupid question ... But I wonder if it would help extend the pot life, if you cooled the stuff in the fridge before mixing A with B?
  17. They just came out with a version of onyx with a longer cure time.
  18. I would brighten those up, it's hard to see anything.
  19. I captured more frames ... you can see them here.
  20. I did a lot more tonight ... I have everything posted here
  21. I wish they panned the camera down just slightly further in this shot
  22. If you follow the link I posted earlier (above), you can download my 1080 x 1920 image files.
  23. Grabbed these last night off the bonus material... M39 Scope on this E-11 Blaster This was all I could grab from the full length feature
