  1. If it helps bro, I had the same problem as you did. AM kits come very symmetrically shaped, and "tailoring" is always required. Try having a buddy help you out and try to have a funnel shape in the biceps. Well this applies were ever you have the pains you mention. Most AM kits come with a slight return edge inside of them. I shaved them away and believe me those extra mm work wonders in not punishing your limbs. So if it helps be my guest Once again, welcome to the dirty road!!!!!
  2. Welcome to the dirty side of the force and congrats on the first build! Love to give you a helping hand, in order to do so some pics detailing canvas straps, side shots and bucket lenses wouldn't hurt our eyes. ;-) If you'd ask for a suggestion I would close a little bit more the bicep shells in order for you to have a more comfortable fit that lets you flex your limbs in a more comfortable way. The tighter the fit the better the movement. Of course that's just me. If your ok with your fit move along. LOL. For everything else welcome to Mos Eisley brother!!!
  3. For all of you who have a tick for the sand this is a great place for not using any soap and water at all. LOL A great sandbox for meeting all kind of cool, smart and friendliest troopers For those about to get dirty, we salute you!!! Welcome to Mos Eisley!
  4. Es lo que es y solo. Gracias!

  5. Marv, we the dirty ones salute you!
  6. Have a good one then bro! Good luck one the dirt path to come ;-)
  7. Count me in as a batter up and if a paypal account will do for them winning the games proud and dirty ;-)
  8. They work just fine bro. Would suggest you stick to one color and tan is the way to go
  9. Bro seems your ready to walk the dirty path! Battle gear is sweat and weathering is a blast! Wouldn't doubt that it's there, but just have it ready like a card under your sleave to have a pic on the 3 ab buttons. At least for me was kind of difficult noticing it. But as every mentions looks your set to go! Let's wait for commander in charge! Good luck bro!
  10. Thank you my dearest bro! You've been very helpful along my journey! Guatemala salutes you!
  11. Pleased to honor the distinguished warriors of the Sandpit bro!
  12. And now, just now I can say I've come a full circle Trooper for the MEPD! Have to say it's been a long run but worth every effort done! Thanks for the support bro!
  13. Thanks bro, really thanks! Proud and tall of standing amongst the Officers! Very!
  14. Panda my bro much aid and achievement I owe it to you as well as a handful of fine troopers! You really live to the mantra: Troopers helping Troopers
  15. And some Tusken Imperial Stout Beer wouldn't hurt also! Thanks and salud to you bro!
  16. Dear brother! Wuuuuuuuffff it really, really did! So proud of over coming the excruciating but funnest TD Officer Status! Bless you man!
  17. Armor build up is as demanding as excruciating fun detailing some answers to your inquiries: 1 As for the thighs and shins try to have a comfortable knee bend without pinching your limbs from front bend to back bend. That's the trick to it. Forget full sniper knee position bend. If you do achieve it please show us the way. 2 For the hand plates try buying some industrial black velcro and have them sewed to the hands were the plates shall meet them. Of course you choose which velcro goes male and which goes female 3 To my taste left side of the chest plate looks a little to low. To angle pointy to be exact. This might have you impede comfortable torso-ab movement. Don't know if it's angle pic or if it's the way I see it. Just revise it. 4 For mics and lower bucket trimming can see and make contact : a http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showforum=18 b ATA Works: Ata Works <ataworks@yahoo.com> c http://www.sealsdirect.co.uk/ (If you not live in the UK you can get creative in your surroundings with the reference ) 4 My best word of advice is to resolve the dilema of armor buildup with actual weight or loosing weight and then armor buildup. No need to rush things, but our TDS armors are awesome freaking gaze looking! But aren't the most comfortable battle gears to wear. Always loosing weight is a blessing for troopin and movement. As for the weathering it's coming out really, really freaking Keep up the good work bro!
  18. Thanks bro!!!!! As you might remember it's been a looooong way from December to here. Quoting ACDC: "It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll" Thanks again for your support bro!!!
  19. Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwww!!!!! Are my exact words!!! And I thank you very much for your kindest words bro, as well as to say for the mentoring and support in every possible way! Wouldn't be here if it wasn't for your aid as well as for the help of many fine troopers that I don't have the honor to meet them in person, but know above all of their good will and heart in every possible way. My will to help and aid others is something I must do and pass along as such as has been done with I. As a Legionnaire I have become very fond of one of the most rigorous detachments in the Empire as it is for the brothers of the MEPD! As a Legionnaire I salute and honor you all! Last but not least I must say one of the most powerful and forgotten word: Thank you!
  20. Michael: Since I'm at the same process as you are I can only share my support and a word of advice. Obtaining the MEPD Deployment status is one of the most demanding but fun in the Legion. So demanding that Kotobukiya or Slideshow Collectibles could make detail replicas of us being here. The Brotherhood is right about their comments. Besides the fix ups my word of advice would be for you to take two kinds of pic sets: 1 Documentation in your armor from front, sides, back and details (very important). 2 Sandtrooper posses. Have fun doing them, picture in your mind and pretend as if you were already "deployed in the desert" That way it would be a lot more easier for the brotherhood to appreciate and be delighted with your armor. Trust me these guys know their "sandbox from head to toes", but are totally supportive in every kindest way. Go for it you can nail this one with no problem at all!
  21. Jajajajajajaja! Coming from the weapon german master that means a lot! Thanks so much bro for making me a better sandie. Appreciate it bro
  22. Thanks my dearest Juanito! I'll take a break from my sandlot tailoring front. LOL. I'll stand by for orders from the commanding center. Gran abrazo hermano! 
  23. Dear brothers between your final requests for my weapon and your friendliest support I must say that my T-21 Blaster is done!
  24. So yes, I came home and when I saw my blaster it lacked the ribbed rings. But of course that wouldn't stop me for pursuing the deployment status. If that's the missing link, check out what I did after two more days of full, but fun work
