    My TD WIP

Well after going thru all my boxes I began to see the future of my TD. I saw where my deficiencies were and have begun working on them. First was the pack. For the most part it was good, just a few things had to go. the Cistern was bad and the radio box was falling apart. The spacing also needs to be adjusted. So I tore it down, repainted the frame and rebuilt the radio box. The radio face is salvageable but the box needed an over haul. So, I bought some corrugated plastic and "L" brackets and made a box. After that I applied 3M spray adhesive to it and wrapped it in aluminum foil. Tomorrow I will over it in fiberglass. Thats one box that wont break! I am also going to make the upper left box the same way. After that its time to find the replacement cistern. Let the good times roll on.

    My TD WIP

Today is a great day. My TD parts begin arriving via USPS. Talk about anxiously waiting all week. I even took the day off from work so I can be home for Mr. Postman. I will post the pictures tonight. All I can say is...SWEET! On another awesome note, I worked with Zach (trading card designer for BSN) this week editing pics for trading cards and the results are in:
  5. I checked TKBoots and bookmarked them. Now my next question is I wear a 10.5, but they sell whole sizes. Do boots run big or small. I have typical feet, no anomolys or anything, should I order 10 or 11?
  6. I have been searching the forums doing research on the boots, and found its a bit of daunting task. So I defer to my fellow experts. could you all give me some pointers or recommendations on wear to acquire the proper boots. I am not the most inclined when it comes to making, so purchasing would be my best bet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. John
  7. Greetings and Salutations My names John and I am a retired Army Cavalry Scout (TB4097) hence my first 501st approved kit being a scout, but now I am going to do a sand trooper. I currently reside in Las Vegas, and I feel like I will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villiany. Serious, this place is really bad. So I felt a TD would be appropriate. currently, I am in need of a neck seal, boots and under armor, so if you all can recommend it would be greatly appreciate. otherwise, I am proud to soon serve the MEPD. John
