i used a gunmetal grey then used a dullcoat on it .

I was at Disney/MGM studios last weekend and they have an original TK and Vader costumes on display in the "backlot tour" giftshop .The TK thighs were glued and the calves we velcro.Although everyone is trying to be cannon ,Its a fact that our armor still is way better than the originals .I was kinda bumbed by the condition of the armor, the chest plate was very wavy and the helmet was way out of shape. I'm thinking that it might have been stunt armor. But it was cool to see it. As far as reference pics, I'll get tons of pics this weekend when I'm there again doing Star Wars Weekends.

I redid the barrel and amo drum ,here are pics just after painting ...

took me about an hour to drill and cut it, still have to sand it and shape the holes a little.

Aegis (A new guy on 501rst forums) came over and we went shopping at lowes,home depot and walmart for stuff. 3 hours and $80 later we came back to my place and Started on the 2 guns. We got about 1/3 finished . During the process I managed to drill through my index finger and paint my thumb . Here are some pics.

Does anyone have a tutorial in english and inches? Frame by frame would be nice. i like your guns yall made but i dont speak spanish nor use cm measurements.

Yeah I love beeing dirty ! Now I feel almost complete minus a gun and pack.

Hey guys i got everything pretty much done today, Bad thing is that i threw my TD decals away by accident.But i have more ordered already. So here i am minus a BFG and backpack.Time to get Dirty!!

I think rivets are great to use, just go to an Advance Auto Parts and they sell a gun and assorted rivets set for about 8 bucks.I also like hotglue,just sand the parts where they are beeing attached and a mini glugun from walmart for 3 bucks .

I Really like that armor ,Its not too dirty and it really looks like you were running around all day .Great job! I cant wait to finish mine.
