  3. Well to stay on topic. Like Mike said, there really isnt any difference between the TE, TE2, AP, GINO, GF, and SDS other than the parts mentioned. I would also add that the detonator and shoulder straps looks different on the different armors as well. I would like to get my hands on all of them just to actually verify all of it, but from the pics I have seen they are all pretty much the same. I can say, having seen the SDS, that it is quite thick compared to the others and very glossy as well. Also the TE is very detailed due to its styrene usage. The AP is glossy enough and somewhat more troopable than the TE due to its being made from ABS. (from what I have heard) I have never seen a GINO before. I guess that it would probably be very nice, but very thin and not wearable. Helmets is another story... AP pulls are very tight and tend to have thin spots and made of glossy ABS. TE2 very thick and durable. Not as tight of a pull as AP but gets extra points for more correct size and nice Back / Cap. Made of styrene so painting is a must. Plus, the man has no ego. I will post pics of my AP as soon as I can. If someones got a Gino, GF, TE, TE2, or SDS, bring em on!
  4. Gotta pipe in here. This is so immature. These makers from the original source armor crack me up. Get off your high horse. Its $75.00 worth of plastic, and you are raping people for it. The ROTJ armor that was used to make Gino, GF, TE, AP is no where near screeen accurate. I admit it looks like the real thing but its not at all like it. Plus, you recasted it! You didnt create anything. I also have to say that all those armors have probably been recasted 100's of times now. After going to the Rose Parade and seeing all the variant recasts from all over the world, I would say that the armor is losing value everyday. So enjoy the 15 minutes guys, soon nobody will care and your helmets will be available at yard sales everywhere for $5.00
  5. Yes, please do. I love your site and go there all the time. Sometimes just to look again at the cool original anh and rotj stuff.
  6. Nice job on those ears. Looks great.
  7. The RT is good, but may look a little small with your height. I suggest the TE2, its the biggest most accurate helmet. You'll pay more for the TE2, but the savings will be the FX armor. In my area I can get it for about $500.00 maybe less without a helmet. Check around.
  8. I would say that the AP would work but you would have to shim the heck out of it. AN RT would def. fit too. Its made for bigger guys. And lastly the FX looks pretty good as a Sandtrooper as long as you toss that crappy helmet and maybe buy a TE2 to replace it. **** by the time you put the pauldron and mp40 ammo packs and backpack on it will look great. There are several guys in SoCal that are doing this and it looks great. here's a guy wearing FX armor and a TE helmet from our garrison. http://www.southerncaliforniagarrison.c ... height=480

  14. Anybody have any interesting ones? i have only seen a few. there are a few on the internet. I would like to see anything stormtrooper related of course. Post em if ya got em'!
  15. I second that! The face plate is too thin especially under the chin and in the mic tip holes. Good thing I bought my TE2, its much thicker!
