okay, so there is 'some' interest in this. give me a week or two and I hope to be able to get something going for you all. I will try to post all the materials used, including the type of leather.

I am wondering how many would be interested in a step by step 'how to' in how I made my pouches including a print out of the patterns I use. I am just unable to really make these right now. I have very few options for working on the pouches right now and non of them are any good. I still have some leather left so my thought is to document a step by step instruction manual and post it on the forums for free. I am even willing to post the item number for the parts I get from the leather store for those who would need to order such items, or I can sell smaller quantities of my current stock. If you think you would be interested, post below. It will take me a few days to get the patterns digitized and a few days to document making the pouch once I see the interest.

yea, I knew it was 1 piece. the roadblock pouch is made the same way. I was just trying to get a better understanding of the stitching. sometimes on my roadblock pouches, you can see the stitches on the inside where as on these pouches, you don't - or at least I can't from the pics. thanks for the pics.

cool, got all those pics saved. what I could really use would be inside shots and any shots of the stitching, as close up and clear as possible. trying to see how the pouch folds around and is stitched to itself.

hey, Juan, are thos pics of a small pouch? just making sure. what size strapping do you guys want on the pouches? I will order a roll of it and see what I can do about getting the D links for it. It would be pretty easy to add it in the creation stage. Guessing it needs some velcro or can you guys handle that yourself if I just add the strapping?

awesome, thanks for those pics. I will have to study them and make a pattern for them (after I get caught up on my list). I am willing to make any size spanish pouch as long as I have the measurements for them. I noticed that these have a little bit of nylon/cotton strap material, is this common on all of these type of pouches or is that something you added? also, is the metal D ring (or whatever type of ring it is) common or an addon? thanks for the pic!!

Hey all, since there is a lack of sources for the Spanish pouches, I am considering trying to make these but I need some pics with good measurements. If anyone has one and wouldn't mind taking a ton of pics with a ruler next to it so I can get the measurements, that would be great. I know I am already behind on the pouches I make now so these wouldn't start until I have my current project list cleared. When taking the pics, Make sure to get all the dimensions of each side and the loops and straps. You can PM me for an email address for the pics or just add them to this thread. Thanks, Z

nice collection. I would be interested in getting measurements of those spanish pouches sometime if they are used by the troopers.

awesome pics!! where did you get those leather pouches?

It took about 6 months for me to get my dc-15 long for my clone. The problem comes from the fact that on his site, he says it will take a minimum of 8 weeks and I think there is like a 6 week claims time limit on paypal. I got mine only after emailing him every single day for like a week requesting either my money back or the product. He didn't even respond till about the 6th email.

since the pouch has had only positive feedback it is ready to go into production. I will add it to my project run list thread in order to keep all my lists in one place. These will sell for $60 per pouch, same as my 3 slot pouches. If you are interested in one, just send me a PM. okay, good to know. I will get the correct hardware ordered. I will also get you a brass button for yours before I ship it back to you.

my biggest question is probably about the button and rivets. since I make the 3 slot pouches with black rivets and brass buttons, should I use brass here also? or are the pouches supposed to be different?

I finally finished my prototype of the Roadblock pouch (previously misnamed Spanish pouch in different thread). I am looking for feedback and thoughts. I am using a 6-7 oz leather which is kinda thick but was the same thickness as one that I was using as a model. The leather I have is a little stiffer though but personally, I think it holds its shape better and will actually be a 'working' pouch, a usable pouch. I don't know what the costs will be yet as I have to calculate my costs and labor so please don't ask just yet. IF this pouch passes, then I will let you guys know as soon as I can for those who are interested. I will add this pouch to my previous pouch thread so as to keep 1 running list instead of having to work with multiple lists. Most of you guys probably know me by the 3 slot Vertical and Diagonal loop pouches I make. I have had several requests to make the Spanish pouches also. I have had a couple of pics sent to me and I am in the process of working up a pattern and then a couple of test pouches for feedback and to work out the kinks. If anyone has a Spanish pouch and wouldn't mind taking some pics for me, I would greatly appreciate it and it would probably shave some time off the creation process. I am looking for specific pics and measurements: -pics of the inside of the pouch -measurement of the top of the pouch where the lid fits, both width and depth -measurement of the loops on the back (length, width and fold of loop) and placement on the back -measurement of the rivets used on the front and back for loops I am also interested in knowing if I should use the 'brass' rivets and buttons like I do on my other pouches or a more of a 'nickel' look to match some of the pics I have seen. Any help is appreciated

can you show us a pic of the camera itself and tell us what type it is? Maybe tell us a little about it, like is it USB, how long the battery lasts, does it have a built in screen, etc. Who did you get it from off Ebay (if they sell more)? I like the idea and like xavier said, I thought it would be cool to have a camera on the back so I could see behind me and have a mini screen inside so I could see the video.

I could pre-shape these but someone said that they were too square when I did so I left them rounded. I guess I will include an option in ordering for them to be square or rounded. Glad you are happy with them.

I would like to know also as I am almost 2 months into waiting for a dc-15 long.
