  1. Looks like you're off to a great start! To finish up the pack that you have emulated the most so far, you need to shift the top wet ones bottle over to the left a tad, and in the upper right of the pack you need to add the small rectangular box with the tube at the top. It also looks like it's missing the row of shotgun shells on the right side of the upper seed tray. You might also want to detach the bee stinger from the bottom of the pack and then reattach it with a bracket. For great reference photos, check out the following three links. http://www.mepd.net/photo_gallery/Photo_Al...Back_Packs.html http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=6172 http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=6208
  2. Well, you've got four buttons on your ab plate and an FX helmet, but I wasn't going to say anything.
  3. Congratulations John! You are now Officially Deployed as an Officer of the Mos Eisley Police Department! You've got one heck of a scratch built pack! ePS: Would you mind emailing me those backgrounds that you found so I can use them for future Deployments? My email is thegreatsot6753<at>yahoo<dot>com.
  4. Very cool Krzysztof! Just goes to show that there are a lot more options than just buying a blaster.
  5. It's my pleasure, Krzysztof! Glad to have you in the ranks!
  6. That is just too cool! It will be Premiering at SXSW in Austin, which is only about 5 hours south of me, so I might just have to plan a little drive...
  7. Congratulations Noel! Er... I guess that should be congratulations, SIR! I look forward to the coming year.
  8. I think you might be right, but don't quote me on that until I find photo evidence.
  9. Congratulations Dave! You are now Officially Deployed as an Officer of the Mos Eisley Police Department!
  10. Congratulations Xavier! You are now Officially Deployed as an Officer of the Mos Eisley Police Department! To me, the story of your armor is a testament to how great the MEPD can be. A Band of Brothers who, in times of need, come together to help one another through hard times. Hooah, sir! Congratulations!
  11. Congratulations Krzysztof! You are now Officially Deployed as an Officer of the Mos Eisley Police Department!
  12. Those are some good looking pouches you found! Where did you find them? As for the belt, the velcro closure should be the height of the belt and the width of the rectangular ridge on the kidney and butt plates. Here is another photo of what I mean: Photo credit goes to Gundamzeppelin who makes canvas belts and shoulder straps.
  13. It looks like you're off to a great start with your armor! It's one of the better looking FX kits that I've seen. That being said, FX helmets are no longer allowed for MEPD Deployment. I'd be more than happy to take a look at any ebay auction and let you know if it's a good deal or not. Sometimes a decent helmet can be found, but a lot of the helmets are recasts or being sold by people who will ask for a ridiculous price. In regards to your pouches, it is personal preference, but trashing part of the belt might not be much of a problem, because you need to change the belt for Deployment. I found a photo in my library that shows the canvas belt. It isn't the best, but I've lost all my reference photos with the death of a full 500 GB external. The canvas belt is attached to the back of the plastic part of the belt by three rivets that are then covered by the three "buttons" on the belt. The plastic strips that came with your FX kit should not be used. The canvas has a velcro closure at the back. For more pictures, click here-->photobucket.com/albums/v652/pan...ct/DSC06804.jpg. I hope this helps! Let me know if there is anything that I can do to help you get deployed!
  14. **** those people who work at Home Depot and have countless hours to scrounge for useful prop bits while still getting paid! If I remember right it is some sort of faucet gasket. I found one myself a few years ago, but honestly have no clue as to what to call it. I can tell you that it's made of black rubber, is the perfect shape and size, and only costs a few pennies, but that's about it.
  15. That or you went back in time, but which ever is the most plausible... All kidding aside, the suit looks much better with those thighs pulled up. I'd love to see more pics from the event!
  16. Looking great! Can't wait to see all the final details added and everything weathered!
  17. WOW! I'm totally impressed with how your TE2 came out Juan! Let me know if you'd like me to redo your photos on the Deployed page.
  18. Now, if I only owned a TV... Thanks for the welcome back guys, you've been missed!
  19. I know, you're telling me! I didn't realize how much I've missed being connected...
  20. Well, I finally broke down the other day and decided that enough was enough. I'm going to go blind trying to browse the internet on just my iPhone. So, what did I do, I got internet installed in my apartment! It only took nine months of not being connected. And what's the first thing I did once the service tech left? Came here of course! I'm glad to be able to view the forum on a screen that isn't 3.5 inches! Any way, enough of a ramble, I just wanted to let y'all know that I'm connected again, so no more delays on PM response and Deployments.
  21. Thanks for pointing out the four button strip, I hadn't noticed it until the last photo. You will need to replace that strip with the correct three button configuration, and remove your TKID from your left shoulder bell (or at least have it hidden by your shoulder pouch in the photos that you submit). After you've gotten your modifications taken care of, you're more than welcome to email your photos directly to me and I'll get you deployed as well as get your pictures posted for everyone else's viewing pleasure.
