  1. Thats what I needed to know. Thamks
  2. I have been searching old threads trying to find the size of the snap used in the upper right corner of the ab plate. I see that much of the strapping yall use a 24 line snap. Is this the size of this one?
  3. I'll try that and see what happens I guess. It will be a few days though.
  4. I'll plug up the hoke later. Now I want to sturdy up the drum. Foam not a bad idea. Will that put too much force on the drum from the inside?
  5. here is a shot of the drum. I'm not so worried about the hole, I just would like to fill or reinforce the drum from the inside.
  6. A while back I got a casting of a mg-15 drum from someone off of the Dented Helmet. The casting is a little thin and fragile. There is a small hole in the hollow drum. Is there anything I can fill it with that will sturdy it up, while not making it too heavy? thanks BH
  7. OK I'm redirecting my question. Which pieces get return edges? I've been delving into different threads and have questions. Biceps: both ends Arms: elbow end, outer piece yes. Elbow end, inner piece no. Wrist end, both pieces no. Thighs: both ends Shins: Ankle end, no. Knee end, yes. Kidney top and bottom. What I have questions about is: Chest plate: lower end, yes, both sides and top end, no. (So no return edge on neck and arm area?) Chestplate: top end, yes. Both sides, just a bit (if kit allows). Leg ends, yes, slightly going to no return into the crotch area. (Is this the ab plate?) What about the back?
  8. I started trimming and fitting my ATA armor. I thought I had read where there is no return edge on the forearms I just read where there is one return edge on the top elbow side. Eventually I will get replacement pieces for this, but for now will this be a deal breaker for 501st entry? Bonded Hawk
  9. I don't have an airbrush for the Humbrol 47. The local HD store just got (or I missed it the first time) the slate blue. Is that a satin paint?
  10. Ill be home in a few days and will take outside pics, but that is about the true color.
  11. Is this color too far off. I am having trouble finding some of the recommended rattle cans. http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/ww232/bondedhawk/2012-08-10124836.jpg Im having trouble doing this from my phone. Ill try and fix this tonight at work.
  12. Thats the one. Looks like I'll be putting stickers on upside down. Thanks
  13. I'm working on the pack with the upside down radio. Does anyone know if the print on the radio was covered in the movies, or was all the print upside down.. I plan to get a decal pack and just want to know if I need to place the stickers on upside down. BH
  14. A noob question. If the boots are to be weathered, is there any reason not to get a pair that is slightly wrinkled or scuffed? There is no major flaws that I con see, just minor imperfections. BH
  15. Increased size of drawings. I still have to find the singlepoint. Added singlepoint and added link to top post.
  16. Alan does good work. He also has good templates for Fett armor. I just noticwd I didnt add the singlepoint scope. Ill add that tomorrow and Ill see if I cant get the drawings bigger. I saved them too small to photobucket.
  17. Alan was kind enough to send gif and pdf files. The only problem is I cant find the pdf ones in the email. They were there two days ago. I recently switched to Chrome and still am learning parts of it. When I find them, Ill post them. Here is WOF'S drawings. http://s723.photobuc...wk/Sandtrooper/
  18. Alan has given me pdf copies of his scope drawings and has given permission to share them. I wont be around a real computer to upload for a few days. I only have a photobucket account. Do they host pdf files? BH
  19. It may have been my fault. I have tried off and on for a few weeks to register over there and have had problems. Now I am able to. They must have been fixing a glitch after I wrote the admins last night. Nope. Just read its not my fault. Just coincidence.
