  1. Hi Ricky, Thank you for your application to join the elite ranks of SWAT *Please note* - During this process, there may be some modifications that will need to be made to your gear. Details that need to be even more fine tuned in comparison to past SWAT members. The bar is always being set higher! Therefore, we always stress PATIENCE during this process as we pay more and more attention to fine tuning and detailing with each new SWAT applicant. The MEPD Senior Commanders and myself will give your armour / gear a full inspection and review. Some details may be missed and re-checked, but we will try to catch them on every pass given until you are cleared and ready to join the Special Weapons & Tactics Team, Trooper! Let's begin... APPLICATION REVIEW (PART 1) Name: Ricky Adams Legion ID #: TD-10068 Forum Name: Millenium1 Garrison: UK Garrison ** ANH SANDTROOPER SELECTED **: Desert Sergeant "Look sir, Droids" HELMET: a.) Green Lenses -- CHECK b.) Paint Color on Traps / Tears -- CHECK c.) Correct Number Of Teeth -- CHECK d.) Mic Tips -- SEE COMMENTS e.) Vocoder Color (Black) -- CHECK f.) Tube Stripes -- CHECK g.) Rank Bar (Ears)-- CHECK h.) Brow -- CHECK i.) Side Screws (Ears): CHECK j.) Weathering: CHECK ** Additional comments** Ricky, it is clear that you have spent the time to research the helmet of Davin Fleth correctly and what an excellent job you have done! The eyes are cut out correctly, the frown has been painted correctly, the brow is at the right height and holds an excellent shape - you have even cut the brow short over the left ear correctly. This is a very good replica mate, well done. The only thing I would suggest is move the right (as you wear it) hovi mic. You want it pointing out more to the right and here's yours If you can't see what I mean, let me know. You have finished this helmet off with a very accurate weathering to both the base as well as the detailing. Well done. *RESULT ON HELMET* *Awaiting mods* II.) Armor / Suit Details: a.) Weathering -- SEE COMMENTS ** Additional Comments ** Okay Manny so far so good. I have felt the need to highlight the weathering on your armour (Helmet, packpack etc is fine). We need to remember that we are trying to replicate "ON SCREEN" troopers and I know it's hard to find some good on screen shots of this as most pictures for reference are behind the scenes photos etc. However what I would like for you to do is try to weather your armour with the same detailing as what we see here: This picture is very close to the on screen image we see and it has some great undiluted details on the weathering. Try to copy the detailing, I think you have a decent enough base to work on. Also in the future if it's possible, can you take pictures outside without the flash on please - the flash takes out a lot of details that we need to see *RESULT ON ARMOUR* *Awaiting weathering mods* III.) BACKPACK: a.) Details -- CHECK b..) Weathering -- CHECK ** Additional comments** Nice work on moving those parts around. I think you're there now and am glad you were able to understand what I was trying to say! *RESULT ON BACKPACK* **CHECKED AND CLEARED** IV.) WEAPON(S): E-11 (Bapty) a.) Details -- CHECK b..) 3. Hi Ricky, Thanks for your application. Your review will begin within the next couple of days. Please stand by....
  4. Awesome pic mate, although I can't help thinking a well photoshopped ATAT foot in the background would look cool!

Weathering -- See comments ** Additional Comments ** Great job on those request mods, Manny As some of the guys have already stated, since moving the details up on the top box this has left a bit of a gap where the radio sits. Use this image to gauge where you need to resit your pack parts And on yours Once youve moved the parts into place I think you'll benefit from giving the pack a bit more weathering. Dont add too much though as this will look inaccurate. Just go over it lightly at first and we'll see how it turns out. *RESULT ON BACKPACK* *awaiting mods* IV.) WEAPON(S): E-11 (Bapty) a.) Details -- See comments b..) Weathering -- See comments ** Additional Comments ** Great to see that you have gone with a Bapty variant for you TD. Could you please supply us with further pictures of it from several different angles? *RESULT ON WEAPON* ** awaiting pictures **
  6. Hi kainan, pretty much any armour can be made SWAT worthy, it all depends on the amount of time, effort, and skill put into it. First off lets get you cleared for PO status first!
  7. Yeah too right. I dont think this can be shared enough! A REAL trooper right there.
  8. This review will continue shortly Manny, thanks for you patience.

Nice choice *RESULT ON WEAPON* ** CHECKED & CLEARED ** ** FINAL COMMENTS FROM THE DEPLOYMENT OFFICER** Brad, It was a pleasure to review your application for a PO. It is clear that you have done your research into what makes a TD and you have carried it off well. The armour looks great on you as well as the accessories. This was, as we guessed from the start, an easy pass. What you have now is a good base for a SWAT worthy build. Well done mate. You have successfully followed the guidelines in regards to the MEPD CRL and have met the requirements. You can now march with the rest of the 'Dirty Bunch' down the halls of the Precinct.. Your locker has been assigned and you are now ready to be placed on the roster among the other elite troopers. Your Profile link will be updated shortly. All I ask of you now is to confirm the Call Sign that you want use. Also, please send the pic you want to use to either Luis (Sandman Tigui) or Ruggero (P3laton3) and we'll get you squared away. We will have your updated information uploaded into the MEPD system very soon. Congratulations on becoming a Deployed Officer of the MEPD! Now please report to the Mos Eisley Mess hall where you'll serve the troopers until the next newbie gets cleared Smally - MEPD Deployment Officer.

One thing Ive noticed on your helmet compared to the Desert Capt. is that you need to lift the centre of the brow VERY slightly. You can see on the movie version there is a small lift between the eyes: I'll also need to see photo's of the sides of your helmet please. B.) EXECUTIVE OFFICER: (Comments Pending) C.) A cracking example, well done on building it. As previously stated, I think it could do with just a little more weathering - it's clear you've weathered it already, i just think it could do with a bit more dirt thrown at it to finish it off nicely. Good work. *RESULT ON BACKPACK* ** CHECKED & CLEARED ** IV.) WEAPON(S): MG-15/RT-97c a.) Details -- CHECK b..) 13. Very nice indeed. A lot of work has clearly gone into this build, you should be proud! What did you use for the night vision and single point scopes?
  14. Troopers, we need armoury positions filling here! If you're interested in becoming an MEPD armourer and If you think you can commit to this project, please take a look at the garrison list. If there is NO armourer listed next to YOUR garrison then please let us know. We are very keen to get this programme moving in order to help out other troopers. We will update the list over time.
