Yeah, you are nutz - take that crazy talk somewhere else hoser. Actually that is not a bad idea. Wished you had mentioned it before I dropped $40 buck on a BS frame and carved it up!!!
  3. I will be there most, if not all day Sat with quite a few other 501st. Anyone else going to stop by?
  4. Looks great man. Still need to attach my counter to mine.
  5. Thanks for the pics - It was my plan to start work on mine this weekend and this of course changes everything. My question would be how to attach the boxes now that the crossbars are gone eh?
  6. Geesh, as mentioned before, I believe much has already been well said. I have been a member since Dec 05. I came to the site to improve what I thought was a great sandtrooper (yikes was I wrong). I have yet to find any other site that has such a wealth of knowledge and individuals wishing to share and help others in this hobby whether they be Hard core 501st members or just those feeling it out for the first time. I have seen mainly positive and lighthearted posts. There have been 1 or 2 flames that were quickly extinguished. I am not a huge poster(strange visual of oversize 501st card)I check the board several times a day in fear that I may miss something (Stupid Got dirt Tshirt) and in hopes of getting a new tid bit of info whether it may be a new piece someone has made or the discovery of something we have all missed. I believe if the board was as bad as thought to be I for one would not waste my time as would many others. Yes, the MEPD has changed since the old days but only for the good from what I can see. Lets go look at the deployed page shall we. Doh, OK maybe it all hadn't been said. Seth, you and others are doing a great job, don't change one dirty thing!! ('cept maybe... you know)
  7. There are several pics on the 501st forum of peeps with RT-mod bucket + FX armor. The thread is in the For Sale/Trade area WTB RT-Mod Mod Bucket. I have one on the way myself. Was wanting something a bit smaller to try out.
  8. That makes me just want to LOL er cry... holy cow...
  9. Tis good to hear beer doesn't remove the weathering. I haven't touched the stuff for months in fear of it messing up my weathering... Off to the fridge to grab a new castle!!!!
  10. I hot glued a patch of velcro to the top of my glove and to the bottom of the plate. Works well and have yet to have it fall or get pulled off. Be sure not to wear the glove while hot glueing the velcro to the top as it smarts a bit.
  11. Yes, definately stay safe and good luck.
  12. Great looking pack. Are you guys having to cut and bend the frames? The vintage scout pack frames I have been scoping look much larger than that used above. I planned on picking one up and doing whatever to get it to work!!!
  13. Good Eve, Here is the photo of Coyote and moi... This was Sat morning after the 6pm~3am Fri nite fun. He pretty much said it all. Many more photos can be found at www.cosi.org or the OG site. It was a blast with the OG and look forward to the next opportunity to troop with ye!!! Jeremy was awesome, such a good chap. Happy that I only had minor wardrobe malfunctions As far as that drink... how bout "heavy blaster"!!!
  14. This weekend will be the opening. Are there any other MEPD that plan on attending? I shall be there Fri(3pm)~Sun(6pm). I have heard much about the exhibit and am really looking forward to it!!!
  15. As far as the Back and AB plate gap- I personally picked up some white leather with snaps to cover this. I found out later many cut a white plastic trashcan and velcro/snap also. There is also a gent that sells a kit on ebay occasionally.
  16. Excellent, love the bit where ani is crying.....
  17. I would like to see a patch of this nature. T'would be a nice addition to the growing collection. Now just to put em on a jacket....
  18. Put me down for 2 of each(Black&Grey) also. Course may depend on price... Thanks,
  19. I'm with A_man. I still have well over 60% of mine left after a couple applications.
