  1. Hey, He is a fellow from the local Gar. and didn't like the look of the other Prod that was offered here first some time ago and is now on Ebay also. I have yet to see it up close so cannot really speak for the quality. I have one of the "others" that he feels is not screen accurate. The other is definately a high quality prod that I am please to have picked up though it does not buzz. Not much help. If I get any other info I shall let ye know. I believe we may be trooping this weekend so, if I get a peek I shall let ye know. Later
  2. Looks great. Would be a fine addition to the arsenal.
  3. I also did the 2x4 and sand method. One side came out nice and the other a little krinkled... However you do it, just take your time.
  4. Guns, Hope everything is well with you, family, and friends.
  5. Good Eve, Here is my completed RT-mod bucket. There is something that kinda bothers me about it and I wanted to see if it is just me. I am pleased with the weathering as I like the "walking behind a Dewback" look lol. Please be honest!!! I would love to go AP or TE but I can barely get the melon in this!!!!
  6. Wow, awesome work Mike... definately a good place to start!!!
  7. Yep, those look about the same except with a black cap. 35 for 15...sheesh
  8. We found someone selling poster tubes at gencon for $5. They were just as heavy as the ice tubes. The ends are unusable cheap plastic though. Come on BP pieces!!!!

    My R-T

Good Eve, Yes, if the helmet rides forward a bit the glasses aren't a problem. As far as padding I am looking into some they use in reprods of medievil helmets. Post a link as soon as I remember where I left it.

    My R-T

OK, GenCon was a blast, will post pics in the Tour area. The RT is together enough to mess with size. My noggin is 24in(circum) right above my eyes. I can get in and out of the bucket w/o any more trimming. With my glasses(lenses are 2in wide x 1 in high) on I can get the helmet on but my glasses will be right against the lens. I shall try and get some photos. I will be lucky to get my incoming Rom + batteries in the thing. More to come

    My R-T

Hey Rob, Just rec'd the kit so have not put it together just yet. This one will definately have to go on sideways from what little I have messed with it. Hopefully will be able to get it done by weekend depending on how Gen Con goes.

    My R-T

So it would appear I am a step behind. I just rec'd my RT to replace my FX. I have a rather big noggin so was concerned with the AP, TE, etc...
  13. Should we add the bungie cords to be more accurate? Do we know the make of the "cords"? These may be hard to reproduce thru vac forming eh. Sweet photos!!!
  14. Just about spewed MGD onto my newly primed TW craftbox. Thanks.... On the outside...wow...
  15. Here is what I spent the last few hours doing... Removed all the fun stuff Thanks for the advice on this Mike. Pretty much did the same. Used a wooden dowel ,E6000, and a couple screws countered into the frame to hold it all together. Went ahead and removed 2 inch including the center rod. I shall figure out another way to attach the stinger. Primered the boxes and wipes while doing this. Bent it by filling with sand and over a 2x4. Very little distortion!!!
