  1. Bon dia Juan, Awesome, many many thanks! The same big thank you to all fellow MEPD Sandtroopers who helped with advise. Special thanks to my buddy DarthChridan whom I called numerous times 7x24 and who was always there with pictures and explanations. Highly appreciated, Daniel, let's have some beers. Cheers, Roland
  2. Hey Juan, The requested changes have been done. - Can you please check? Thanks, Roland
  3. Many thanks for taking a look! - I added pictures of the weathering of - the backpack - the belt and - the ammo pouches by now. Last picture is hopefully the right one. - I wasn't exactly sure what you mean with the shim. But I think I got it since in the full pictures it looks on the right leg like a part of the upper edge would be missing, on the - now added - close picture you can see that it is intact and full. Also added some weathering to this spot . You can see now that the shim goes all the way up and is completely even..
  4. No problem, got it changed, please see picture. - I also added some weathering to the backpack, belt + pauldron by now so it all looks the same. Roland
  5. No problem, Daniel! - Got it changed and added the pic. Thanks - Roland
  6. Changed my abdomen plate today so that there is no overlap anymore! Thanks for all your help and advise. - You were correct, I did not need a new plate. There was enough material. Ready for deployment now.
  7. OK - I will get the changes done in the next 10 days or so and repost! Thanks for all your help!
  8. Hey DarthChridan & trooper1, The snap goes through both pieces of the abdominal plate = these edges would have to go, otherwise you would see the wholes. This is why I feel that the whole abdominal part has to be replaced. If my thinking is wrong, please let me know. :-) Thanks - Roland
  9. I might be short of material when on both front and back plate the material with the snap is taken off. Would require a full new abdomen plate. - This change will take me about 3 weeks then.
  10. I cannot change this snap thing anymore - if this is a "must", I would have to replace the whole abdominal part. All I could do at this time was to paint this snap white.
  11. Hey trooper1, Yes, the shoulder straps are canvas, same material as the back piece of the belt. You can see some mini-threads on the strap nearer to the camera which show it is canvas. Silver snap I painted white by now. I got lots of advise from Daniel Bolzer who recently has been MEPD deployed. Therefore I replaced the mictips so they are not only the right ones, but also the inner is white. Most important change though was the backpack. I changed to a backpack from Rick Bates. TD-2231 I also put the round plastic plates (3 of them) on the front belt.
  12. Hi all, Can you recommend sources to me where I can order the black MP38/40 leather pouches or similar? Any replica with is Mos Eisley accepted will be ok. Ideally, I hope that the supplier has them in stock. Waiting for a run can take a lot of time. I tried Sandtrooper.org in Canada, but the delivery to me failed twice. Luckily I could recover my funds. Thanks, Roland TK-2231 - Germany
  13. Hi MEPD, Where can I currently get movie accurate MP40 pouches, the ones with 3 and 4 pockets? The ones that TK8034 shows in a post are really great, but it looks like he is currently not planning a run. Can you point me to a source for movie accurate ones? Many thanks! Roland TK-2231 - German Garrison
