If the armor is painted, I would paint the helmet. It might be good excuse to try some of the under painting to mimic the originals. The other option would be to try hitting the helmet with a dulling spray or clear flat sealer to knock down the shine.

Sounds like we are all just waiting to the when where and how much for a list.

Hi folks, I'm the originator of the question to Mike. I've seen this plate used by a few approved TD's but with the move and push toward a legion wide CRL system to stream line the application process, I'm unclear if this plate has the required reference for approvals. That's the officer side of the quest, the personal side is that I'm beginning my own TD build and may be interested in utilizing this variant for it. Which begs the question of who produces these plates and from what material. In keeping with standard methods, keep any maker information to PM to either Mike or myself.
