Hi all I know a few of you troopers purchased this type of pouch from a fellow trooper at the time i thought the price was way too high(55$$) so i passed, I looked around and followed the links to a place where i purchased some canvas mp40 pouches well i looked around the site and saw a product that almost matched what was for sale on the boards. Heres a tutorial to make you own for 6 dollars yeah i said it 6 BUCKS!!!! first go here and purchase these pouches 1 set for 5.95 or 2 sets for 10 bucks!! http://www.ima-usa.com/product_info.php/products_id/462 and this is what you recieve in the mail...... yeah i know 2 pouches it supposed to be one so we cut with a stanley knife down the side of the middle seam, this renders one of the pouches useless but for 6 bucks it doesnt matter!(you could always so up the 2nd pouch if needed) then you dye it black (tandyusmc black leather dye 2 coats followed by the sheen spray) and what do you have...almost the same pouch but at a very low cost. compare to the pouch which was sold on the boards for 55

Bored tonight so i thought id whip up a quick vintage MEPD custom cardback in honor of the back pack master td 1536(mike) for all the hard work hes putting into the screen accurate back packs!! my printer isnt that good so the quality of the cardback could be better what do you think!?!

im still looking for the sling material, i found some nylon dog leashes but they werent wide enough....

wow yeah i was looking at his armor which is what prompted me to ask!! ryan do you have any close ups of your helmet, also which paints did you use the coat of Krylon Fusion River Rock Satin, once that cures, you paint on some liquid latex where you want your chips to be, then you paint over that with Krylon Fusion Gloss white as per seths post?? thanks in advance H.

I know all the TE guys paint there buckets , i should be getting my ap soon and im thinking about painting the bucket is that a good idea?? Has anyone with anything other than te painted there buckets??? (if can you show pics??) Also by painting the bucket im guessing that the whole armor would also have to be painted!?

woo hoo i actually found somewhere in calgary(canada) that does the alvin ice tubes, i bought a blue one 37 inches long for 20 bucks cdn better than getting it shipped from the us! woo hoo i think that was the last part i needed now im just waiting for all my orders to come in and hopefully soon an accurate bp will be born! my question is do we keep the diameter at the 2 3/4 inches as i dont really wanna have to cut it open. i know we cut the length!

I know mike has some sweet hd pics on his website of his armor!!! that is what adorns my display right now!! thanks again

Hi troopers i recently aquired a new 21 inch widescreen monitor and wanted some sandtrooper wallpaper, hd would be great but anything will do , does anyone have any large images laying around i could use???? pretty please

can you use the leather dye on these??? the leather dye that you use on the leather pouches or how about show polish?? I wanna get mine jet black when i get them i ordered the dark green version.

sweet!! thanks for the diagram..... so heres what i have or have ordered haves or on order Main boxes-sb pack parts- mh tupperware dish tupperware stackers tupperware jelly/parfait bowls vintage boyscout back packs thermal detonar plate wetones bottle-lower bottle lysol bottle - upper bottle needs alvin ice tube -(do staples carry these??? Im in canada so il try there and office depot) need to find the diameter im sure ill search here and find that! i think i just need the 2 black boxes on the left of the pack , one that the radio box plate mounts onto and the black one above, i believe its a stow & go? let me know if ive missed anything please correct me if im wrong hopefully another screen accurate back pack will be born soon!!!!!
