Is it too late to order 1?

Don't forget the eyes as well, they cut more plastic away so the actors could see better.
- WIMPS!

I highly recommend Tony's work - just absolutely Top Notch. And, until SOMEONE comes up with an alternative, the MR and real Sterling is just too darned heavy....
-
Man Tony,
You HAVE been busy. Everything looks great. Sent you a PM...

...Why not try a tacking iron instead of the regular fabric iron. THese irons are used in Graphic Arts and photography work (to mount prints, etc.) - much smaller head and pinted on the end for small areas...
..think of a soldering iron with a small iron attached to the end...

I have used it a lot, and can say from experience - you will not want to use it a s a base coat. It works well as handgrip coatings, but just like any rubber coating, it wears and can peel (even when properly applied. This would be catastrophic for a base coat on any weapon, etc... It would be of better use as a last external grip coating...
I certainly would not use it on canvas..

OH NO!! Gorillaz TB and TK in da house!!
Hey Tony - I thought that "I" was the Gorilla?

My custom styrene thighs are just plain giving up the ghost (double shimmed for my 27-28" thighs) - and I need a replacement pair soon (probably by the first of the year)...anyone know where I can get a decent set for a decent price (I.E. not 2-300 bucks or anything ridiculous like that)??
Feel free to PM me... I have checked on eBay, but figured If I was going to spend money, my Bro's would be first in line.....

Yeap, Lee painted the protype BF helmet for MR and it was excellent. I find it hard to beleive they can mass produce it, though.
I've read numerous rumors about the three different 'levels' of Stormtrooper helmets. Everything from vac-formed to fiberglass.
I'll beleive it all the day they ship.
Tell me about it Mike. I pre-ordered the E-11 scaled replica (it was originally going to ship in Summer 2006), then delayed to Fall 2006, now Winter 2006... So far, they do not impress me - prices are outrageous, and delays on top of it... Somebody needs to talk to LFL ans set them straight...

Guns,
Hope you and your family are well... Let me know if there is anything I can do...

That's your scratch build? That looks great. Did you use any specific instructions for it?
Not really - I took the basic measurements of the real one (THANKS TK-409) - and winged it.... It's not spot on, but, it will get me by for now...
-
Dude - make your own... pretty easy and inexpensive.... (at least until you can get an awesome Hyperfirm)..

Count me in...

I think it is safe to say that "most" Sandtroopers dig Girls...

It is done! What do you guys think? Should I have used stickers? I am going for a clean stunt look.
..that's a really nice Helmet - super Job!

Strips would be handy to have in the case of us guys who don't fit the standard "thin" ANH trooper build (Example: my 27" thighs, 17-1/2" calves, etc.)

I attach mine to the backpack frame, and to avoid excessive dangle or wobble - I run the strap under the shoulder strap of the breastplate and out the front. I have a backpack clip on one end and the mate for it on the back of the pouch - seems to work pretty well..
-
Let us know if you plan to pull an extra sets (hint, hint)...
Today you are officially - "The MAN!"

Looks like they got the Biker Scout markings confused..
