TE2 Helmet....

They aren't the same - the one on the left is a real Trooper

I used a replacement welding mask (from RJSAFETY). It is very dark (almost too dark sometimes - I.E. in Darkk Venues, at night)... But you can't see my eyes at all...

I too am lucky enough to have a Big "E" suit... His work is exceptional and his film is going to be great! My Big "E" set (appropriately weathered of course)... compared to the F/X - very ANH:

That almost looks like an Egner original....

Same thing for me - 1/2 PVC tubing (with a crossbar in the middle to add additional support)... works like a charm and doesn't scratch too much. I also added weather strip grade foam to the inside edges to cut down on rubbing.... After trooping twice, I have found that the straps need to be replaced and re-worked - anyone have any suggestions? Pretty much ditto, except I used 1/2" PVC.
