I see the avatars just fine - so far...
-
uh...5'11" and my average weight is about 220, even when I'm in real good shape (which isn't often since I turned 35).
All my weight is carried in my thighs (huuge thighs) and my shoulders. According to the military height/weight table, I should weigh 180. I haven't been 180 since the tenth grade. I'd have to cut off a leg to be 180 again.
Welcome to the LMG Squad of MEPD

PPAL sent for 02.

Thanks for the lead - I picked up a couple. Wal-Mart - $1.50 USD
-
That would be 4 please!
-
What actual part is this (not on the backpack - the real world part) - maybe I can scrounge around....
-
WOW - that is 24 USD less than what I paid!
-
Would this be the new Helmet version that was discussed? If so, what are the odds of getting the price PM'd to a previous purchaser?
-
Nice showing - I am jonesing to suit up!
-
Email sent!

Turo - you da man!

Ultra fast shipping from Redford Films. All in all, not super, but not bad either. Well worth modifying and handing off to the teen, or as an emergency backup for the TK (after mods of course)...
-
well - I can speak for all of the LMG's (LowLand Moutain Gorillas - Thanks Tony) - I don't think weight is the issue, but rather build. If you carry all of your weight in your gut, there may be issues, get your arms much bigger than 16" or so, and you gotta shim.... just depends. I know guys who weigh much more than me and fit fine....
-
I like design 3 - if it was rounded off, that may be a good combo of size and design..

Just ordered one for $119.00 from
http://stores.channeladvisor.com/redfordfi...%20EP%20IV%20CE
..One for the collection, and maybe use as a loaner - we'll see how it stacks up as a general purpose helmet. Still tweaking my AP (JOFA helmet inserts, etc..)

...I mean no offence to the scratch build by avatar_man..
None taken.... mine is not exactly up to par with the quality I have seen from Sci-fire weaponry (trust me I have held a Sci-fire BFG next to mine - the quality is overwhelming - superior product all around)... If I could afford one, I would ****** it up in a second.
I have not personally seen a Cushman, so I have no opinion, different guns for different reasons - I always say. I like to make my own, so I don't mind that they are not the uber perfect model (no offense to all of my colleagues).. Love you guys, let's play nice - there is room in the world for Sci-Fire, Cushmann, and scratch built...
-
And don't forget that you can always build your own for next to nothing.

Dude - you'd make a great RC
Telling me... I think they are cool... but I have a TK and Clone to finish first...
-
5' 10" - 215, 49" chest, 14-1/2 forearms, 17-1/2 calves - no big belly, just thick...(too much manual labor in my 20's)
-
...yeah - like anyone who weighs over 180lbs ( or 215), or is built like a Lowland Mountain Gorilla
-
Here is a small attempt...
A man in a hot air baloon drifts by and stops near a single man on the ground. He asks the man - "Could you tell me where I am?"
The man looks up and replies "You are in a basket, 50 feet in the air, traveling NorthWest atround 50 degrees Longitude, by 145 Latitude."
The man in the basket gets very upset and yells at the man on the ground "You must be in I.T.!"
The man on the ground replies "Why yes, how did you know that?"
The man in the basket replies. "What you said is very technical, way above my level of understanding, and really didn't help me at all - I am very upset with you!"
The man on the ground replies. "You must be in Management."
The man in the basket replies. "How can you tell that?"
The man on the ground replies, "You came to me with your problem, I identified it, and gave you a very detailed explaination. I did not create your situation, or make it worse, but somehow by explaining it to you - now it's all my fault!"
-
Congrats Mike - Glad to have you here.

Yes indeed - keep us posted, any semi-accurate Lewis for that kind of buck is sure to be of great interest (Like 01 for me maybe)
