  1. No problem, Rolf! I do have some news for international troopers: great news for international troopers! Given the same limitations as for european people, I am able to send international: Those limitations are: NO gloves. (completed or extra) (see exceptions below) - Just 1 pair of hand guards per . NO combined shipping. - No padding in the envelope. Shouldn't be a problem; they're flexible. No breaking damage - It's 5 cent cheaper than before, i.e € 6.80 If you really want gloves, I have to use another envelope. I sell them at cost, so they would be €5 (in store cost) + €6.80 + pp fees + price of the envelope + tip (optional ) If you really, really want completed hand guards (i.e. glued on) I have to send them as a parcel. This is where a canadien distributor would step in: I'd ship every 5 (or more) finished and paid orders (=completed guards with gloves) to Canada, already complete adressed and packed. The canadien contact would then just carry them to the post office and mail them Still have to do the math, but I shouldn't be more than € 1-2 more per hand guards, including a small compensation for the canadien helper. Disadvantage: you have to wait longer This is quite complicated now, hopefully I can refine it a little. I'm going to update my sales thread tomorrow. Thanks for all your assistence! So, if you want to order just the hand guards, go ahead!
  2. Rolf, Dave, good new for troopers in Europe. While I was at work, my better half had a nice talk with my local post office. I can send to Europe/EU again. There are some limiations, though. - NO gloves. (completed or extra) (see exceptions below) - Just 1 pair of hand guards per . NO combined shipping. - No padding in the envelope. Shouldn't be a problem; they're flexible. No breaking damage - It's €0.30 cheaper than before If you really want gloves, I have to use another envelope. I sell them at cost, so they would be €5 (in store cost) + €3.40 + pp fees + price of the envelope + tip (optional ) If you really, really want completed hand guards (i.e. glued on) I have to send them as a parcel. + €2 for the offical, standardisized box + € 13.60 postage I can mail up to 1 kg for this fare, which equals about 4-6 completed hand guards. each additional kg costs just €1 This I perfect for garrison group orders I know this seems complicated, trying to refine it a bit I hope this works for you. I'm sitting on a big pile of latex hand guards and have a gallon of white rubber comming.
  3. Okay, my first fit of panic is over, I may have found a solution for europe, For overseas orders, I'd need a distributor in canada, If everything fails, someone will need to step in my footsteps and work with my molds. There's too much work in them (3 years now) to let them dissappear. Thanks for all your kind words!
  4. Sad news. Austrian Postal Service drastically increased the fees, about +€10 (+ $14) for a single pair of hand guards. Therefore, I can no longer offer any of my items. To worsen things: I already got several items returned to my address, and very few I couldn't get out so for. If you still wait for my items, please give me a few days to sort everything out. If you're one of my customers who is affected by this situation, contact me and we will work it out. sincerely, Karin
  5. dark green only to be accurate
  6. Next up: The Wiener Prater (Vienese fairground) with the Riesenrad (Giant Wheel) The Riesenrad was one of the earliest Ferris wheels, erected in 1897, at this time it was the largest in the world with an overall height of 64.75 meters(212.4 ft). The Riesenrad famously appeared in the movie The Third Man, James Bond- The Living Daylights and Before Sunrise. If you take a ride in one of the gondolas, you'll get a beautiful view of the city. More to come.
  7. I'd love to chime in I'll write a list andpost it later tonight. How old is she? BTW, no need to worry. Vienna is one of the safest cities in the world. One of the "must see" is the former residence of the former emperor (NOT Palpatine), the castle of Schönbrunn, with its huge park and the zoo ok, I'll post more later
  8. I have an android phone (quite similar) and I'm 42 I took some time to get used to it
  9. Replace the ab-buttons (4->3), ab button plate, sniper plate, lose the shoulder bridges, get dirty. add pouches, pauldron, backpack. Better, get a new suit
  10. Get another, screen accurate one. Plenty of options out there: AP, ATA, Cap-W, MTK, ...
  11. Humbrol grey #5. You can get it from Mike's page.
  12. Glad you like the items! yes, Joe told me about the rivets too. This is why I ask. Havn't seen them before. But I do know that the rotj had chin straps aswell, there are some hi-rez pics of the PIH helmets on RPF. I suggest cut about 1" of the straps, or they'll be a little too long. They're designed for the upper ANH screw
  13. I'm just curious: where do you place the rivets for the chinstraps? All rotj helmets I've seen so far were just glued..
  14. To be über accurate, the black rubber gloves should have diamond pattern textured palms and fingernails.
  15. Wow, Miranda! That worked out beautifully! Good work!
  16. I like it! Getting one of the kits myself soon Did the straps and foam arrive?
  17. Rolf, you're a great dad! hang in there! it will work out for you I really feel ashamed for other women.
  18. Wow, ****... too bad. The pack you received looks NOTHING like the pcs on his page....
  19. See what Jesse (TK4702) on fisd did with his helmet.
