  1. Okay, I will be upgrading and trying for deployment again. I recently purchased a more canon backpack. I will also be getting a canon Lewis Gun sometime within the next 4 to 6 weeks to replace the MG-34 pictured here. Then I will save up for a new helmet that's more canon. I'd like to get a better ab-plate. Does anybody know where I can buy a canon sandtrooper ab-plate? Thanks for your consideration. Brent TD 1044
  2. I will look into getting an "A New Hope " helmet. Like I said the Lewis gun will be completed by next month. If the backpack will 'slide', then I'll leave that alone. A few years ago I had one that was more canon, but it was too heavy. So I sought out something "lighter". Thanks for your input and I truely respect your high standards. Brent TD 1044
  3. I will be getting a cannon Lewis Gun sometime late next month. That will replace the MG-37 you see in the pictures. I won't be getting a new helmet anytime soon, so I guess I missed the boat. So, I guess I need one of the "A New Hope" helmets, eh?
  4. Here's the rest of my pics for Deployment.

  6. I still have the Stormtrooper ab-plate... complete with the drop boxes. I also have the rear cannister... I just don't use them cause I've gone "sandy" on appearances lately.
  7. Okay! I will be getting "dirty" very soon. I purchased the "Woodland Scenics" Earth Paints. As well as the "Fuller's" Earth Tan & Gray paints. My next question is, has anybody gone "clean" after going "dirty"? Many people say it's easy to wipe these paints off the armor, but has anybody actually done it? Do you just use a wet rag? I'm sure that once you go "dirty" you never go back. But if I'm asked to troop at an event which only wants stormtroopers, I may want to "clean-up" for that event... then go "dirty" again. Thoughts?
  8. Hello all, I'm ready to "get dirty". But I need some help and guidance from a few of you. What the best tutorial you've used? I don't want the paint to stick. I may want to eventually remove it. What should I buy? I'm in desperate need of some assistance or links to tutorials. Thanks, TK-1044 Midwest Garrison
  9. Hello fellow troopers... Please take the time to vist the link I have provided below... If you're looking for a Trooper-Amp complete with built-in static burst, this is it!! I recenlt purchased this item, installed it in my helmet, and I can't say enough good things about it!! http://hyperdynelabs.com/products_elec_troopVoice.php If you have any questions about it, click on "contact us"... 10. I've often wondered how other troopers store their armor. I have three "Rubbermaid" plastic bins I bought from Target to put it all in. One bin for all the ABS parts, another bin for my accessories: backpack, shoulder pauldron, white shoes, neck seal, ammo pouches, etc... and one smaller-sized bin for the helmet. I'm curious if this is similar to others? Perhaps you have one huge bin to store everything in. Maybe you just leave it all in the back of your SUV on the outside chance you'll need to "Troop". Please offer some storing and transporting ideas.
  11. So what's the deal with these Sandtrooper Ab Plates?... Can these be purchased somewhere... or are left having to be handy and make them ourselves??... TK-1044 Midwest Garrison
  12. I purchased the "Skullworx" voice amp system... It works great but unfortunately does NOT have the static burst effect... Is there a separate static burst unit that can be purchased which is compatible with the Skullworx unit? Any info would be appreciated. TK-1044 Midwest Garrison
