  1. Arg :o I'll post pics, that's about all I can promise
  2. Considering all the hasbro blasters out there with resin parts attached....mine are better And again......those above are REJECTS.
  3. Funny how things turn out. The fanfilm maker that contacted me for a blaster kit was the maker of the now famous "Black Star Warrior" trailer! That gun took one **** of a beating and survived being used by a dozen dead troopers, tossed, dropped, thrown, and smacked against a plethora of solid objects. Pardon me while I toot my own horn, but I make a decent blaster The guy hunted me down specifically for the gun, I suggested Hyperfirm but the budget was too tight, and well, it was created to be a stunt gun. Now it's a famous stunt gun
  4. No dang chips! I'm satisfied with making an "as-made" totally 100% accurate helmet. It almost seems like cheating to do damage on purpose, anyway
  5. Thanks! Learning all the time, my main issue is that I don't like asking people to do too much, so a reshoot seems like pushing it. They don't think that, they had fun, so I might be fine tuning this in the very near future.
  6. Well this SOB has been sitting on the shelf for a while, I think I got it about three or four years ago, I figure it's time to fire up the paint booth! I've heard talk of self-etching paints and such, what would you, the troopers, prescribe as the best? I don't plan to weather, so the less paint that comes off, the better. Also not wanting to fill in the cheek detail, but that doesn't flex as much, perhaps won't need special painting...?
  7. Thanks....mostly Here's another link for the denied fans of Germany: SW Moments: A Night On The Town
  8. D'oh! Forgot about that. I'll have it on atomfilms soon enough, then you can watch it. And Juan, though stormtroopers might have become synonymous with fan activity and socializing in the real world, in the SW universe they're still the bad guys
  9. We've just completed the new chapter in the Star Wars Moments series: A Night On The Town. It's a tale of two stormtroopers out on patrol with a little too much time on their hands. I'll warn you now; it's a bit dark...and I'm not just talking illumination here. Enjoy!
  10. Thanks, but it seems interest died once they became available Oh well......... Here's one used in a Portland, OR fanfilm, customized lightly by a production member.
  11. They weigh practically nothing 6 ounces, tops. Quite sturdy, they take a fall with no problem; considering their size and length, they are pulling thicker than armor. I'm kitting them out to those that would like one, people have talked about filling them with foam to gain more weight, if needed.
  12. They are ready All vacuum formed parts, but adding resin parts would be a breeze if you like. I plan to do one myself. You know where to find me JJ
  13. Thanks all, this is a bit more of the progress. First pull on the Track molds, making a few quick adjustments to make cutting them out easier.
  14. I think he refers to the costumes being tossed out, this is how many armor pieces got into collector hands. Just one warning, the footage I have was filmed while Matt was........a.....little bit.......erm........HAMMERED.
  15. You can fit the whole sound fx department in there Thanks!
  16. Fan-filming requires suits, and I have those. But I didn't have blasters, couldn't afford accurate ones(especially in quantity) and find Hasbro to be just silly and cartoonish. I needed something light, pretty tough and replaceable. So had to make some myself! I built this: With a real Sterling grip, a casting of a foregrip that TE used to own, and the rest created from various....stuff. Cut the sucker in half, and went to work. Whew! Tired just looking back at it New updates are drilling the barrel vents in the molds. So, just need to finish the T-track mold, refine the clip and counter a bit, and my troopers are good to go. Some locals showed some interest as well in having a blaster that the sweet little children can grab at while trooping without worry Update soon!
  17. Shot a few days before it was hosted. Mid to late June, if I recall. There's more footage from an earlier session coming..stay tuned
