lookin good! one thing though...are the tears, traps and frown grey? they appear black in the pics...or a very very dark grey. Should be a lighter ANH grey if its not already. Testors makes a grey, ironiclly #1138, which is perfect, and usually about a buck for a small bottle.

I just drybrush on a little silver to the high spots to, like a few others mentioned, make it look like the paint is worn from use. I dont add "dirt", basically for the reasons you said

For my blasters, i always use krylon flat black! I feel its slightly greyish tone make the blasters look more real.

those sets are sweet! i was going to get one of them but money constraints made me skip it,now im almost glad i did cuz this version looks even more badas**! My fett helmet will have this! lol

For ANH TK's and Sandies, Flat green lenses are accurate. Bubble lenses are accurate for the Hero helmets Han and Luke wore in ANH.

Thanks Bro! The weathering was kinda by accident actually..lol. i originally did it a little heavier but thought it was too much for my taste. So i sanded it with 1000 grit sandpaper to take it down a bit and it ended up looking better than i even thought! thanks for the comment on my pack too...im really happy with it. A big thanks goes to Scootch for his tutorial which i loosely followed, Crashmann for the exhaust port, faucet cover, and mushroom caps, Voodoo for the radio knob (which i havent installed yet lol) and Gordonator for the cistern! Im glad i decided to sell the scout rather than the TD as well..the scout will be easy to replace later in the year. Thanks everyone!

Thanks John i hope so too...imay have to take more detailed pics though. Im kinda hopin my build pics would suffice as they show the white elastic on the shoulders n such. Didnt really want to have to suit up today.Im workin on doin all of Bobas fixes today so i can troop him next week so your son could meet the infamous Boba Fett! If that doesnt work out though, ill be there in full TD gear!

Oh yea, i re-made my belt with a piece of thin ABS in it in the ammo pouch area so now it doesnt sag

Mine is a vitamin water cap and a make-up jar cap on top of it. Does the job....i justgot Danas cast one though, so ill be switching that out soon!

thanks John! Im SUPER stoked about it! Ok...question for the command staff. I now have 1.25" wide off-white nylon webbing here. and i have a D ring. Can i use this as the sling for the T-21 for deployment until i can get the real deals? i can screw in a strip of thin black nylon webbing into the stock to attach the "D" ring. would this fly for deployment? (obviously ill show pics, just dont wanna go through the mods if its definately a no-go)Im a bit short on cash and wont be able to get the sling and correct swivel mount for a little while and am anxious to get deployed heh. thank you sirs!
