i also think that at least some of the tupperware radar dishes were NOT painted white. maybe there were also some hero or stunt backpacks.

  2. as i said in anther thread i will repeat here:

the name TE or Trooperexpert will always be remembered as the one and only builder of screenaccurate armors!

your work has been and will always be a great inspiration for all of us stormtrooper enthusiast out here!

thanks for all your advice over the last years!

i wish you all the best in the future, matt!

  3. matt,

i wish you all the best on your journey.

i really hope you find what you are looking for and finally find yourself and your soul.

WE owe YOU a public thank you!

THANK YOU for all YOU did for us and all the fellow stormtroopers out here that had the honour to know you!

you were an inspiration for all of us and your work on the suits will be historical for all that were and will ever be stormtrooper and armor enthusiast like me!

the name TROOPEREXPERT or the initials TE will always be remembered!

you know that i really mean it, bro!

    THANK YOU MATT!

BTW: i always knew you looked like that! i´ve never seen you but it had to be that way!

  4. second that absolutly!

that is exactly what i was thinking about as i first saw the picture i posted in this thread! the rotj and the esb suits were like second generation suits with more details like the different ab plate or the ribbed shoulder straps. so the longer protrusions were no longer needed.

the sandtrooper pauldrons hide the shoulder straps perfectly.

i´ve seen some stormtrooper preproduction drawings that showed the upper armor as a whole part like this sketch here:

i know this is not a preproduction sketch but it shows what i mean...

i don´t know where i´ve seen the real preproduction sketch, sorry!

i think this photo shows that the gap between the two parts was quite small and i.m.o. there is also some gaffer tape over the small gap.

  5. the ones you got there are swedish mp 38/40 post-war pouches.

(try to sell the small metal part shown in the small pouch on ebay! these are gun loaders and are also recommended by ww2 enthusiast!)

these are really the best nowadays you can get below 400 USD.

the leather 3+1 pouch with the pouch attached to the front are very hard to find and go mostly for more than 400 USD.they were used by the german "fallschirmspringer" or the "luftwaffe".

the only pouch better than these is the original "STOLLA WIEN" pouch.

they are only 3 pocket pouches and also hard to find... i have one of these on my belt!

maybe i will have the chance to get my hands on one of these within the next few weeks.

i will sell it in the "For Sale Or Trade" area then... so stay tuned!
