  1. Hah, don't let me talk about Art's Sandtrooper... I was chasing for more than 5 years to get one of Gino's suits after i found www.looksirdroids.com Unfortunatly when i finally bought one i wasn't able to build it because i took a outtime from propbuilding after my son was born. I still have it in storage and it's still one of my holy grails even after the real suit showed up with the RS guys. Art's suit took it to the next level back then... i still love looking at those pics! Both Art and Gino share this passion for accuracy and won't stop till perfection! Honor where honor is due, the rest are just haters to envy to acknowledge it! Just as a footnote: Maybe consider to share some more of your knowledge, Gino! At least here on the MEPD forum your input is much appreciated! I know you can`t share all your inside knowledge due to your affiliation with LFL/Disney but just a little bit... pretty please!
  2. Quoted for truth! The Sandtroopers have always been my favorite character from Star Wars so i'm happy to see the accuracy community grow!
  3. I already said it in your other thread, simply stunning, Gino! Btw.: I especially like the evolution of the siphon part, i like 1998 the most...
  4. You did it again, Gino! That's once more a proof of your extensive research, knowledge and craftsmanship! While left green with envy i really enjoy seeing your displays, and unlike many other collectors i can only applaud your constant effort to build the most accurate lifesized display of Star Wars characters. But enough of this soft soap blah-blah, It's just BEAUTIFUL! And now give us a complete list of all parts used... haha, sorry couldn't resist, mate! But i'm really interested in what is the underneath part of your "gun shells"?
  5. So it might be the other box coming with the picnic pack? The one on the right? Dimensions are not that far off the other box... Or did i misunderstood your post, Gino?
  6. Awesomeness! Great to see the box together with your seed trays!
  7. That's exactly why i though too... that means these weren't some weird bottles but standard off the shelf bottles. Unfortunatly that makes it nearly imposiible to find the correct model when the top isn't something special anymore.
  8. Credit where credit is due! Thanks Strider!
  9. Frighteningly we do, Juan! That's exactly why the rest of the world calls us nerds! Hahaha...
  10. Same here! I really hope we don't need to find used vintage plungers... buhaha!
  11. Noooooooooooooo, i've been through hundreds of plungers years ago! When i closed my eyes before sleeping i even have seen them, couldn't find a close one, so i gave it up! Congrats if your turns out to be the correct part, can't wait for your friday package, bro!
  12. Nice hint! I already checked vintage picnic items, plastic stuff, radio equipment and a lot of plumbers stuff but haven't found anything close! Please don't say it's the thing we call "Pömpel" in Germany?! I don't even know a english word for it...
  13. You once more took it to the next level! Amazing build, Rolf!
  14. Oh man, keep it in the MEPD community first of these are not so commonly available so we can have 'first dibs' on the parts! Can't wait... again!
  15. Updates? Can't wait to see this finished!
  16. Got something new to show? You know i´m interested...
  17. Looking great! I also would go for vac formed trays, give it a try! Same here! Really hope they're gonna be affordable! Radio is still on the list, bro! (Still have the dutch pouch, though... )
  18. Community thinking, much appreciated! Thanks!
  19. Looking good, Trooper! Nice to see what can be done with a yellowbit of resin!
  20. Finally! I've been expecting this for the last 10 years or even more...
