  1. Looks great to me. Interesting about the thighs I may have the same problem
  2. All most . I try some lacquer, on a extra painted plastic trim off piece. To see if it will hold the paint on 100%, but the paint was still stronger whit out the lacquer on... I might try another brand, before it weather it. But at the same time, i´m not sure if the lacquer will hold it stronger. So i might just go dirty real soon on him Beautiful build. I hope I can do something so thorough. I was thinking about the laquer options as I was going to paint the suit. Have you thought about a professional two part spray? I recently made some MDF kitchen doors and had them sprayed. The finish is as tough as boots. They do all RAL colours and clear too. THey mentioned they can laquer any material including plastic.
  3. Ahhh a TM armour - to dream. One day in the near future hopefully.
  4. I'v got the stunt lid which I am happy with, but agree that it's not put together with the same attention as any of the fan based helmets I've seen and at £400 a bit steep.
  5. Looking good. I would love to get a pair of these. When's the next run?!
  6. Thought I would introduce myself. I have been searching the Web in the hope of building my first armour as authentically as I can. It has been a dream since seeing a full size Stormtrooper in Angels Theatrical Outfitters in Leicester Square London "78 the same time I saw the film for the first 5 days after it opened in the UK. I have managed to get a SDS lid but would really like to build a TE2 kit from scratch, so I am sure I will need plenty of support. Checking out the forums here and FISD has been brilliant so far. I think I will go in the direction of ANH Sandtrooper - although a big gun doesn't always get the girls
