  1. HH, Leave it the way it is! It gives your bucket character...besides, like everyone else is mentioning, you're going to weather it. Great helmet!
  2. Only the best, slave1pilot...only the best! You are THE MAN!!! Thanks so much for all you do for the MEPD, my friend! You go above and beyond. Now I just have to weather these bad boys.
  3. TE, I can't thank you enough! Owning your ESB, TD, and hopefully, ANH suits are simply a thrill! You are a true artisan and a great friend. I hope this post finds you and your family doing well. Take care, buddy!
  4. Hello fellow sandies, I thought I would share a few pics of our trooping at the DVD/BFII release at the local BestBuy. The first pic is of brother Guns and I (the only 2 members of the MEPD in Hawaii...for now, anyway). The last pic is the MEPD flanking the group. Take care everyone and I hope you all had an awesome trooping(s)!
  5. I ordered the 72" belt. As far as width, I think 1.5" should be okay. I'll have pics when I'm all done.
  6. I ordered a 1.5" natural cowhide belt strip from tandyleather.com. I'll take pics as soon as I get it.
  7. I hear that, TD-1536! Looks great Guns. Let me know if you need me to come over to help with anything.
  8. Happy Halloween! And to all those troops going out on patrol tonight...be safe and watch out for those jedi mind tricks. Have fun everyone!
  9. Yes sir...that is Aurabesh. For the ID, I used an ANH font. Both can be found here: http://galactic-voyage.com/Fonts.htm I'm glad you like the picture TK-6829. Just a little something to give back to this awesome board. It's the least I could do with all the help and support I received when I first started here!
  10. Here you go TK-6829. Let me know when you download it so I can take it off my photo page. Thanks, and I hope you like it:
  11. That is AWESOME!!! It sure is nice to hear something other than 'CLEAN' white armor only...once in a while. Wish I could've been there with you guys!
  12. Oh, and Mike That must've been an awesome time you guys had! Your new MySpace profile pic is pretty cool too!
  13. You guys are always welcome! I'll be piloting the shuttle craft myself...standby for the clearance codes
  14. I had one of the original boxes (with the printed F/X logo) that were twice as big as the ones currently in use! Happy times ahead Paul...happy times!
  15. Disregard my previous question...I saw your post at the DH and RPF. Awesome job!
  16. *drool* Hey slave, is that the lightweight one?
  17. Hey TE, Long time no 'see'! I hope the family is doing great. I know I keep promising to stop by (and I WILL) but I still have you and your wife's tickets to 'Aloha Land'. I am still LOVING my ESB suit that I got from you...gee, how many years ago was that?! My ANH Sandie is doing great...thanks to you, and I'd still like to talk to you about another (or more) suits. Anyway, don't work yourself to death...and don't be such a stranger! I'll give you a call so we can shoot the sh*%. Take care, my friend...and I hope to be in your guest suite soon
  18. Hey Seth, If you still need Photoshop help, I have some free time. I'm not an expert, but I am learning...anything for the MEPD! Contact me if interested.
  19. Incredible find! Okay, now I know what I want for Christmas.
  20. Yes sir...you got it! Thanks TE! Weathering was done via Chris' technique at TK409.com (under Sandtrooper Conversion) with tempura paint. I plan on redoing the weathering to get more 'filthy' (you guys are a bad influence ). Thanks again everyone for the comments and look forward to finishing this project to be on par with the TDs I've seen on this board. Take care and aloha!
  21. I've had this armor since the ROTS premiere and have only now found some pics. I still have to dye the ammo pouches and attach them. Also, you'll notice that I'm not wearing my backpack...but here's a pic nonetheless: Thank you everyone for all your inspiration and help in getting me this far!
  22. So did I! I also ordered the trooper chip at the same time. Great sounding helmeted trooper. I was thinking of getting Jim's smaller 'trooper dedicated' board like sportsanchor. That way I don't have to keep moving the sound board (and changing the chip) from costume to costume! Anyway...just my thought for the day...
