  1. Hey jontxlawdog,

Your best option is indeed to drop this question on the Spec Ops boards.

And I have taken the liberty to move your topic to the "Off topic" section of the boards as this was posted in the wrong section :)

  2. I really need to say that you did an excellent job with the weathering. I know it can be a pain in the b*tt but the results you have showed here are really good.

As Urs already mentioned, should be approvable for #2 as well and I couldn't agree more.

So, great job and you can be proud of what you have achieved! :duim:

  3. The original strapping system was a hook system and hooks were used to fix/ attach the armor.

e.g. for the calves on one side a hook with elastic band was placed and on the other side a small hole was drilled to "hook"  it in place.

The hooks itself look like this.

  4. That's Pack #1, nice..

A few things that aren't correct as far as I can see/ judge.

*The radio has already been mentioned but next to the faceplate the whole shape and size look a bit off to me.

*The top mushroom cap isn't correct as it is straight and it needs to flare out.

*The cannisters need to be changed as well, and I'd personally would suggest the bottles of Glass wipes or a similar product.

*The filter on the pack is ok but the one used in the movie was different, I'd suggest to try to find a matching one.

    * On the opposite side of the mortar tube there must be placed another smaller tube.

Here's a reference picture of the pack how it was seen in a New Hope.

Excellent news.  Maybe reach out to mimban stormtrooper fam on Facebook,  there has been a ton of research done there already.

If I have it correct that already has happened.

What I need now is a breakdown of the assembly of the helmet and the names of the parts.

So if someone is in a sharing mood, feel free to post it here!!
