Hey Edward, thanks for the introduction!
It looks like you've already been the busy trooper with all those costumes
Good luck with your build and enjoy the MEPD

Well, we will do some new merch runs but we will keep an eye on what happens on Legion level.
Better safe than sorry..

That's a good looking armor! Hope to see you deployed soon after you've adressed the pointers that are given

I really need to say that you did an excellent job with the weathering. I know it can be a pain in the b*tt but the results you have showed here are really good.
As Urs already mentioned, should be approvable for #2 as well and I couldn't agree more.
So, great job and you can be proud of what you have achieved!

Nice work on this CRL and props to Shawn for that sweet backpack.
Thanks for your kind words Anthony!

It's good to see so many troops interested in getting the Emperor's Roughnecks certificate!
Keep it up troops and @LoveMonkey, you're doing an awesome job with this program!
-
Correct, as long as you have the plastic molded lip present where needed you're good to go for level 1/ basic approval.

@Dragon_a, I'm sorry but I ain't allowed to share the draft of the CRL, per order by the Legion Membership Officers.
But you can always shoot me a pm to help out with naming the details as I haven't heard from Jim yet.

If there's anyone that can do this it's definitely you Rocko! Yeah I remember Art / BraksBuddy his work. I even still have his reference CD.
I'm excited to see what you will make of all the various makes.
Good luck my man!

Well since Jim is the one making the armour I'm sure he's best placed to do that.
Thanks
In that case @jimmiroquai shoot me a pm with all the details!

Interesting thread!
Good luck with the build and the road to S.W.A.T.

The original strapping system was a hook system and hooks were used to fix/ attach the armor.
e.g. for the calves on one side a hook with elastic band was placed and on the other side a small hole was drilled to "hook" it in place.
The hooks itself look like this.

That's Pack #1, nice..
A few things that aren't correct as far as I can see/ judge.
*The radio has already been mentioned but next to the faceplate the whole shape and size look a bit off to me.
*The top mushroom cap isn't correct as it is straight and it needs to flare out.
*The cannisters need to be changed as well, and I'd personally would suggest the bottles of Glass wipes or a similar product.
*The filter on the pack is ok but the one used in the movie was different, I'd suggest to try to find a matching one.
* On the opposite side of the mortar tube there must be placed another smaller tube.
Here's a reference picture of the pack how it was seen in a New Hope.

Excellent news. Maybe reach out to mimban stormtrooper fam on Facebook, there has been a ton of research done there already.
If I have it correct that already has happened.
What I need now is a breakdown of the assembly of the helmet and the names of the parts.
So if someone is in a sharing mood, feel free to post it here!!

Hey jontxlawdog,
Your best option is indeed to drop this question on the Spec Ops boards.
And I have taken the liberty to move your topic to the "Off topic" section of the boards as this was posted in the wrong section
