    Help!!

Welcome to the MEPD , Don't worry about the cost of the backpack , they can be built for a very reasonable price. There are several build tutorials on here which will help you , A backpack can be built for as little as $100.
  3. OMG ! That is a complete work of art , it's not a replica , it's prop forgery. By far the best replica helmet I have ever seen. I take my hat off to you sir
  4. Happy birthday Rolf , hope you have a great day.
  5. Cheers Mike , I've got the beret patch sorted , it arrived last week , just got to find myself a beret to sew it onto now
  6. Great start , can't wait to see your progress
  7. Cheers guys , it's a sweet little blaster now unfortunatly I'm not able to troop with it as we have strict gun laws over here so it's only for display. As for the weight , it's very heavy just over 4kg Andy.
  8. Pic sent , sorry it's a scary one , hope it doesn't give you nightmares A
  9. Great pics , looks like you had a fantastic time. Anthony Forrest is a great guy , I met him back in May he's always happy to chat with the fans , a real down to earth guy. Thanks for sharing
  10. Very good , it's good to see Tuskens working well in an office enviroment The missis liked the Ewok one , till I reminded her about the last little furball of vermin that crossed me
  11. The scope is all fixed in place , I have riveted the scope rail at the rear and it tucks down into the vent hole at the other end. Due to not wanting to make it look like it just rolled off the production line and to be in keeping with the used look of the Star Wars universe I have decided only to paint certain parts. Here are the tubes that sit on top of the magazine port and the trigger guard that have been repainted. Next I reassembled the trigger mechanism and put the handle back on. Then put back in the cocking mechanism Now for the T tracks on the barrel. To fix these I have used a double sided foam tape , this tape is ultra sticky ! I normally use it for glazing security glass to framework but it's ideal for this I cut small strips and stick to the back of the T track , then just poke each end of the t track down the vent holes at each end and voila ! jobs a good un ! That's about it , just clip the magazine back into the mag port and It's finished. one 100% authentic E-11 blaster.
  12. Decided to give the old E11 a bit of a spruce up , it was kind of cobbled together when I recieved it . So it's about time it was done proper. After half an hour trying to get the trigger assembely out , I managed to strip it down as much as I could. Decided to make a new bracket to hold the counter box on the side as origionaly it was just stuck on. Here's the parts.... New bracket attached to the counter box and the scope bolted on... A bit of painting and it's ready to rock ! I've decided not to re-paint the entire weapon as I think they are supposed to look used and battle worn ,I wouldn't want it to look like a brand spanky new Master replica blaster , uurrgghh the horror of it , so I'll just be touching up bits of paintwork here and there.
  13. Fantastic , cheers for doing that. I'd better get my order in for a patch
  14. Cheers guys I couldn't of done it without the wealth of information and great help from the MEPD , and also TE2 for the bucket On another note , I don't know if it would be possable or not but can I cange my username to TD-1549 ? A
  15. Thanks very much for the comment , it means a lot to me. I've been working on this costume in various incarnations for almost a year now , although I'm not exactly the correct size and shape for a sandie , I quite like how it turned out. Andy.
  16. Pics , no problem at all. Here you go.... Andy.

  19. Hi folks, well my new pack is done at last , needed to get a decent one made as my old one was a big heavy pile of bantha dirt. there is one bit missing on the pic , the shotgun shells , forgot to screw them on before I took the pic . Anyway, I've given the pack a bit of light weathering just to give it a used look. What I need to know is would it be good enough for 501st acceptance and MEPD deployment ? Cheers, Andy.
