Nice pics thanks for sharing.
Also i think in the alley scenes they had two r2-d2 droids when shooting that scene, as it was too slow to keep up with the old jedi and the farm boy

Thanks guys this is helmet # 12 i think...
I have had fx, ap, te2, te, tm, some other unknown makers and now the dl. I like to buy the different helmets and take a look at them. Getting to know the subtle changes and i like to have the different versions also, like stunt, hero, anh, esb that kind of thing.
But i have also been trying to slim down my collection as sometimes i have had 3 helmets from the same maker.. and i sometimes sell things to pay for other new things.
I am quite happy with the helmets now in my collection and maybe just need 1 or 2 more, who knows?

Ok recently i was lucky to get hold of a new DL tk helmet from my good buddy Rolf aka TD 252.
He did an awesome job building and detailing the helmet, my hat goes off to him
Anyway here are some pics of my new family member getting to know his brothers here with me, more pics to follow..

I have to say Rolf has done a wonderful job building and detailing these DL helmets.
The one i bought from my buddy arrived today and it is nothing short of outstanding
I really look forward to seeing what you do with the full armour suits, they are going to be awesome.
All the best from fbj

Exellant work Rolf
I still can not get over how sharpe these pulls are

This type of thing only accurs when your boots are not tall enough, what boots are you guys using?
A small piece of velcro on the front top of the boots and inside the shin should work for you.
-
Nice going Rolf, you are like a little stormtrooper armour factory
-
That must weigh a ton, thats an imperial ton, not metric

Nice
Is it just me or does it look as if the brow should sit higher? It may be that we are just used to seeing the Brian helmet and this Dave lid is that much different?
Very nice all the same, and it is nice to see a different take on a screen used helmet.
All the best, mark.

I think most people still use welders visor, dark green number 3 or 5?

I can hardly wait to see what you do with these Rolf

These turned out really sweet, nice job

Thats a fair one i just wasnt expecting them to loop it in under the chestplate...

OK this thread is just happening at the right time, im hoping to strap my new armour sometime over the next couple of weeks.
OK lets look at this photo of JJ, it may have covered before i dont know.
Where is the strap going that is coming out of the left hand side of the chest plate. Is this holding the shoulder bell up, it seems too far forward? Or is this going through the arm and holding the forearm up, we know that the forearm is held on the inside elbow by a 2 inch strap which we assume it attatched to the inside of the bicep..
If the bicep is free floating the forearm being held up and the elastic on the inside of the shoulder bell would be enough to hold the bicep in place, yes, no?
Any ideas...

I also have long arms and if i used this style hook to hold up my biceps they would disappear under my shoulder bells

Awsome work as ever scott, these are going to look super smashing great!
Say hello to the newest member of my family

I think it will be interesting to see as more of these dan laws helmets appear in the community how other people put them together and how they end up looking.
For now i will leave the helmet as it is, i think Rolf did a good job. I can see that the face maybe could be at a lower angle and the right ear could be closer o the face but i like it.
I like it as it is different to the other helmets out there. Who knows what Dan has done to his molds, it is very sharp. And you are right Leo, i need a nice rotj helmet for sure, to make my collection complete
