i got the standard version....and at the moment, it just says the "rom/fx" thingy when you turn it on like it says on the site, can you change that?

I just got my ROM/FX voice amp and HOLY crap it is the coolest thing ever! It is truly the icing in the trooper cake! I recommend it to anyone that can get one! -Todd TD-2570

Yeah, I'm thinking I may tone the blue down just a tad. I was going by the Corporal and the Sergeant statues from Kotoukia (did i spell that right?) but theirs is still a little bit more on the blueish-gray side. And I also plan on adding some LEDs hopefully since I already have the toggle switches in there.

Yeah, doin the dirt was all KINDS of fun, after of course I got the balls to put that FIRST amount of spray paint on! LOL The first thing I sprayed on there, I did WAY too much and it was just smearing everywhere and I was going "**** **** **** ****!!!!".....but then started wiping it off, it was coming right off with no problem at all, so I was like, "so ok, I can screw up and just wipe it right off? WHOO HOO!! LET's go NUTS!!!" lol What's weird is I thought I overdid it, but in pics, I dont think I look dirty enough. Looks much better in person.

Holy crap TK-432, that "backpack meets gonk droid, where do i plug in?" comment had me in stiches! (and I'm not being sarcastic either, I was laughin my butt off) The one main pic directly from behind does make the thing look enormous I admit, but it's not quite as big as it looks when you put it on. I was just wonderin what you guys thought of my pack. I must admit, I started out with "small" in mind, but the more I got going, the more I decided to go all out with it. I was making trips to Home Depot 3 and four times a friggin day! It's got toggle switches and all kinds of hoo-hah on it and went thru 20 feet of PVC pipe! It's a little on the big side, but it's actually really comfortable and not heavy at all. It's mainly tupperware parts! Plus, ya gotta give it up for the Imperial Seal stencil (did I spell that right?) on the ol' radio there! I only have a few decent shots of the pack, but I plan on taking some more detailed shots soon. Anyway, any crits welcome!

I'm tryin to load up my own avatar and maybe I'm a complete friggin idiot, which is HIGHLY likely....BUT, ok, so, if i'm understanding this correctly....to load up your own, you type in a URL where the pic is located at right? Like, a pic in a yahoo photo album, yes? SO, if that IS right, then in the "my profile" section, in the "avatar" section, I'm typing in.... http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/solarpick ... pg&.src=ph ....which is where the photo is at, but it never comes up. It's 177x270 and is only 15.3KB. Am i not doing this correctly? I can blast Rebels, stomp on Jawas, ride a friggin Dewback across the wastelands, but I can't get a friggin avatar to work.....geez.....

So just to make sure, the plain "classic" version DOES have the static clicks right?

This movie was fantastic, period. George Lucas really sent us off with a bang and this is by FAR the best one out of the prequels. It's amazing to me how this film really makes you see Vader as a totally different character, a tragic, fallen hero more than just a villian. I liked how, in the beginning of the film, it was more comedic, more "buddy cops" feeling between Anakin and Obi-Wan, it made them appear to be extremely good friends as opposed to master and apprentice the way it was in E2, which of course, made the ending that much more horrible and sad. I felt completely sick for Obi-Wan with what he knew he had to do and for the way he had to feel seeing Anakin burning up in front of him. (And speaking of which, in response to the notion that both of them should have been burning up during the duel over the lava, if I was noticing correctly, all the things that were in contact with the lava, like the little droids, or things near the lava like the platforms they were on, they seemed to have some kind of shielding of force fields going on underneath them. I'm guessing that's what that blue-ish purple glow was underneath them was. There was also the scene where right before Padme arrived, Anakin is standing there looking out of the building part he was in and there was a spark that was hitting near the roof and you could see the shield activating to protect the building, it was that same glow. Then again, I could be WAY off! LOL) ANYway, I loved the movie and can't wait to see it many more times, hopefully a few times on the digital screen around here. It's kind of surreal, sad, and sickening to think that the films are over and done with, but thank you Mr. Lucas for this movie and for the past nearly 30 years of everything Star Wars!

Does anyone know where to get styrene sheets for the making of the sniper kneeplate? I was at home depot last night asking for them and they looked at me like I was speaking french or something! Are they actually called "styrene sheets" or are they called something else that only home depot has a different word for? HA!

When you guys start cutting your armor, what's the best thing to use to cut it with that comes out the cleanest and easiest?

I've recently seen pics of women in the trooper gear with a "female influenced" chest piece for the armor. Just out of curiousity, does anyone know who makes those? What better way for a trooper with a girlfriend to get her in on the fun too right?
