  1. Does anyone make leather MP40 pouches? If so, can you drop me PM or post some contact info? I see the canvas ones out there, but I thought I would try for leather ones first.
  2. I learned from the best.... so I had nothing to loose. I also work in acrylic paint for fun, so I don't mind taking a chance. I have to admit, it's a blast weathering. I can't wait to get the rest of the base paint on the bucket so I can complete the detail and weathering. Hurry up UPS....
  3. little update. I'm waiting for some new paint for the frown and traps, so I can only weather parts.... but it's has begun. Let me know what you think. FLASH NO FLASH
  4. Sweet. Thanks J. I have some, so I can always see if they will fit (I think I have 2 of the 3 grinding stones) It may be time just to stock up a few different bits (can't REALLY have to many) I recently got the Dremel Stylus. I can't say enough of this beauty. It's sweet for detail work. http://www.dremel.com/en-us/tools/tool-det...G=66204&I=69808
  5. Nice work!!! Can you post the bit part numbers. I need to hit home depot to pick up some supplies anyway!!!
  6. I've started work on my TD and thought I would keep a running progress thread. I've been working on the bucket first. It's a FX converted to a stunt. Not weathered yet, but will be soon. I've started on the detached parts for the weathering (see below) I decided to try and put it together a little differnetly. I never liked the FX seams, so that's what I worked on first. I know it's a FX bucket, but I'm a bondo rookie, and thought it would be good practice for future projects that I have. Please ignore the frown paint, I just used it as a reference for the frown as I worked. no flash After getting some initial paint on the bucket, I started working on the chin. I was planning on using this as a base to the weathering (toothpaste this then put another coat of black on) but I'm not sure... I can't decide if I like it this way or not. I'm leaning toward too much, but then... can there really be too much??? Let me know what you think. Let me know what you think.
  7. Amazing man. I wish I could fit in all your armor. It's simply amazing work!!!
  8. It's good to see I'm not crazy. Thanks for the help so far guys. Good info. Anyone have any pictures that would show where the 4th tooth would go on an FX kit?
  9. yea. it does. When I look at my kit, it looks like it only has 3 dimples on a side (so the max I can cut away is 3) Is that normal, or am I just missing something.mIt would make sense if there were 4 dimples that "could" be cut per side, but I just don't see them all.
  10. I'm looking at my extra FX bucket kit (which will become my TD), and I'm totally confused on the bucket frown. It looks like it has "hero" dimples that would be cut out, but I know people have made the stunt out of it. How? I'm so confused... Any help/explanation would be great...
