  1. So I had some time, so I decided to finish a long over due project. I've had my A.N.H. v2 that I had worked on for a while. I love this bucket. I had started to weather it, so tonight I decided to finish it. I wanted to get some thoughts. I decided a nice, subtle weathering vs a super heavy one. Let me know what you think. Brad The flash has it a little lighter probably that in person. I don't know. Let me know.
  2. number 8 landed in Ohio.... amazing. Thank you Rolf!!!
  3. WOW.. just wow... so fast. They look amazing. I'm excited for mine to arrive. Perhaps now I will get that TD finished
  4. WOW... that's a great eye for the detail on the outline. If you want me to help pay for that, you just let me know my friend. I don't want you out any cash for helping people out.
  5. I'm really excited to pick up a white one. Thank you VERY much for doing these.
  6. WOW... so quick. Thank you sir. I can't wait to see more. For the morning sickness, the first 3 months are the toughest (at least for my wife who had a pretty bad time with it). I wouldn't be too worried about 9 months
  7. Rolf, Nice work man. Very nice. I'm excited. BTW.. my wife had nasty morning sickness with both our kids. Make sure she gets enough water. It's tough, but it does go away (at least you know it's going to be gone after 9 months right... )
  8. Rolf, These look great. I am interested, but I need to figure out what I'm doing with Seth first. I need a Pauldron, in fact it's the only thing missing from my TD (except... well... completed assembly of the armor... just minor details Brad
  9. To answer your question.... It's a good price for the bucket and all the guts. A kit alone will cost you over a hundred, then throw in the electronics it adds up. It's true the FX is not longer allowed for deployed or Elite, however if that's not you cup of tea, it should not be a worry. It's still approved for the 501st. Their are better buckets out there, that are pretty easy to get a hold of. The starting price is north of 200.00 USD. So now you know and can decide what you want to do.
  10. Mike, that is a great looking bucket man. I always enjoy seeing it.
  11. I think Seth posted up a version of that pack that he made. the Filter pack I think is what he called it. It looked great.
  12. Head on over to http://www.tk409.com/ You will find your answer there... some say... the best answer...
  13. wow. Thanks Clutch, that means a lot to me man!!! I couldn't have done it without you. Thank you for the kit, the help, and the tips!!!!
  14. Thanks Seth!!! I love the pack. It's sweet man!!! I'll have to get some more pics up of it. I got ssome paint on the DLT, but need to do some touch up before I weather. I also found some areas that i want to take another look at... I'm a bit anal...
  15. yea, it's been a worry of mine too Mike and thanks for the compliment. It's been a fun build. I'll have to be pretty darn careful with it. It does seem like it's very sturdy and there are no "loose"/thin pieces. I realize it's not going to take a good hard fall well, but I hope that day never comes. During this process, I've learned to sculpt the parts a little (due to air bubbles, my mistakes, etc...) It's also been built to break down for storage and transport. I'll take some pics of that tonight perhaps. I need to work on the bolt a little (I've got to trim it down so it's not so long).
  16. I just wanted to post some progress pics of the DLT-19 that I've been working on. This is a kit from Clutch. Great guy and great kit to say the least. I've learned a lot with this build and it's been a blast. Let me know what you think. It's just about ready for weathering.
  17. I prefer woodgrain. Just to adda little more to the blaster. Just my 2 cents.
  18. My armor is sanded as well. I made so many mods that it required a painting to cover up the resin, model putty, bondo, etc... I like it sanded and painted. I've mixed a gloss with a flat primer (not mixed together, but sprayed over each other in different parts) I get some "shine" in parts and it's very flat in others. Then the dirt.
  19. Very nice!!! That's what I'm talking about. Thank you very much. How about others? This is a great thread to help people. The pouch is a ticky little guy. I hate whaen I see them fall off a trooper, so the more secure the better!!
  20. yes, that great. Do you ever troop without your pack? If so, is that no pouch? Any pics would be great. I'm a visual guy.
  21. I've been looking for, thinking about, figuring out, the different ways to attach your pouches? Does anyone have any good tips/tutorials. I've got some ideas, but before I go down a path I don't want to... I figured I would see what others did. I'm looking for info for both the shoulder and the hip pouches. How do YOU wear them?
  22. On the top and bottom right? I think those are just TD/O2 canister end caps. I believe the "control panel" is just the face of the TD/O2 canister. I think that’s right, but some more experiences sandy’s can confirm for me.
  23. yea. Keep them coming. I love the courage one!!!! So true... so true..
