To update everyone on the problem. My T-21 was shipped today, which is good and bad. They never got around to Woodgraining it, which is why I had waited 4 months. BUT, it is on the way. I'm pretty disappointed that it took this long to not even have it finished. UNBELIEVABLE. Bill even sent me an email sounding ****** at me because I called John. I'm guessing he got in trouble. What in the world? I don't care how nice the gun is, it is doubtful I'll recommend them to anyone. Anyone in NYC know how to woodgrain?

That is good news. I PM'd you for his number. I'll try to speak to John today if I can reach him. I hope he's not giving us the runaround.

I just can't even imagine waiting another four months. Even more so, I can't believe people even recommend their services. I guess I'll keep my eyes peels for someone selling one on here and I'll snag it and get a refund from teamphippen.

Well, I just got an email from John at Sci-fire and he's totally apologetic. Apparently, this mess has happened with several other people that worked through Bill. I'm not trying to diss the guy, but it he's can't follow through with customers, then he isn't helping the Hyperfirm name any. I don't know if mine was ever actually woodgrained, but I'll take it black for now and maybe do it myself down the line. Thanks for the support guys and I'll keep you updated.

I just sent the Empire City Garrison an email to tell them what's going on. Maybe I'll be able to use someone else's gun to take some pictures until mine arrives, if that's not breaking any rules or anything. I'm not trying to do that. They've been waiting for me to send my pics in for months. Hopefully I'll be able to 'move along' with at least the ID assignment. growing frustrated.

To get an ID# I have to have a gun. So unless someone in the NYC area has a T-21 I could borrow, just to get my number and picture taken. I sent john@sci-fire.com and explained my situation. Hopefully I'll get a response. I'm not going to wait 9 months.

Dang, now I'm really worried since TC 1009 has waited 9 months. That's just ridiculous. The worst part is I can't join jack until I have a gun. I've missed several deployments lately that I would have loved to have trooped on. What a total drag. Anybody have the Hyperfirm phone number, or someone else at Hyperfirm besides Bill P. Hey guys, I ordered a T-21 Lewis blaster from Hyperfirm and it's taken a really long time. Supposedly the gun is done, but I'm just waiting for them to add the wood grain. I'm curious, for those who know or ordered through teamphippen, how long it took to get yours? He seems legit, but now I'm starting to worry because it's been 4 months. I call and email and occasionally get email replies. Is anyone else in the same boat? Thanks.

I got my backpack and it looks killer. My question is: Does the pack needs to look 100% screen accurate, but are we allowed to add an antenna, a hose, or lights, etc onto the screen pack? Or maybe put our TK# on it in Empire lettering? In other words, does deviating a bit exclude one from possible membership? Thanks a ton guys.

I bought a Dark Green welder's mask and made flat lenses from that. Worked great for me.

Good point. The only downside was the speaker system. It was either not loud enough or feeding back. I need to tweak the controls alot and figure it out.

About two hours. I'm actually glad I didn't have a gun or backpack. People get really touchy and would probably try to grab something.

I love this thread. I definitely have a # in mind that I'm going to shoot for. It hasn't been taken yet and there is a meaning behind it for me. I don't want to say it and jinx it.

Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. BRO, we are Sandtroopers for LIFE. Can't wait to serve next to you guys in the 501st. I'm going to serve every chance I get.

I'm glad the requirements are getting more stringent. It keeps things to a standard of excellence for everyone. I hope I make the cut when my costume all comes together.
