  1. Just like Christmas in April. My new boots arrived today from Caboots. I must say, they are **** sexy with blue jeans and a t-shirt. I feel a little like Neil Diamond. I did rip one of the straps off already trying to put them on though Hey, at least I'm one step closer!
  2. Sold. It is going to be a few more weeks until AP gets the pure white plastic shipmment. I'm going to take one of the last two blue hue sets he has left and get started. I figure I can start assembly sooner before it gets really hot here...its already in the 90's. Then I'll spray it white and never worry about the hue again. TIME TO GET BUILDING!
  3. Crap, I just got a haircut.
  4. Where do you get it? Do you have to mix it like Devcon or is it pre-mixed like crazy glue?
  5. Ahhh....the craft area. Guess I'll have to follow the old ladies there...I keep getting diverted to the electronics section by following the young hotties.
  6. Are you guys spraying all of your armor to give it a base for the weathering?
  7. Where can I get E6000? I didn't see it at Walmart, but they did have Devcon so I got some of that for my E-11 build.
  8. Paul, Will you be selling finished products/kits?
  9. OK, I need some advice from you pro's. I have a choice since I ordered my AP kit last month. I can wait for the pure white batch to be formed or I can take an existing set of new armor off of the run with the blue hue. If I am going to get dirty, should I still wait for the white run or opt for the blue hue and get it quicker? Can you tell I'm impatient??
  10. Oh Yeah....! If you buy the government's full-auto tax stamp for $200.00 and pass the background check, you can buy a real full-auto one from a class-3 arms dealer.....for a price.
  11. As a relative newbie to the site, I've been going through a lot of backpack threads trying to figure out how to get started, what to buy, and where to get it. There are over 5 pages of threads with a ton of great material. The problem is that I've been surfing for about an hour and a half on just backpacks and I am still at square one. I know that Seth, Mike and a lot of other guys have just about nailed every uber-accurate part of each of the different packs. I though it would be cool, if possible, to create a specific thread that troopers could go to get the info they need for that specific pack design. I guess that there should be a specific thread for each pack from ANH that has been identified and named. It would be ice if each of the threads started with some photos so that troopers could pick out the one they want to build and then continue with a list of parts needed and where they can be obtained. Photos of the raw parts would also be cool. The remainder of the thread could include the tutorial on how to fabricate the parts and ideas on how to assemble the packs. I know that there are many variations and options available, so maybe a better way to do it would be to isolate specific parts of the packs that seem to carry over through the different variations and create "master" threads on those parts... i.e. mortar tubes, exhaust ports, radio face plates, BS frames, PVC frames, boxes. Anybody have any suggestions?
  12. Just went to the 501st site and saw him on the front page there too! Can't wait to see him at the Super Bowl halftime show next January. Just hope he doesn't have an armor malfunction though
  13. Very good article and a great honor for Mike.
  14. Holly crap! I got a lump in my throat when I read it......Then I actually tried to think of how I could come up with $$$$ for your armor without getting shot by my wife **** glad you got me. Now I gotta go out and get someone else. good one
