  1. I'm game and can probably get some Dune Sea Garrison folks there as well.

We did a photo shoot there in 2007...thats where my banner came from. More shots can be seen on my facebook page....just look for Stephen Lentz or chevelle.ss to find me.

We even took an R2 unit on the shoot....the sand was murder on the motors.

  2. Man, I don't have any resourses to turn to.

I tried to piggyback the MEPD request with a $36,000 badge order from our department, but they said NO WAY. I'm game and willing to assist wherever necessary to make it happen....I just don't have any leads.........I'll help you, Jay, if you know someone....anyone.

  3. 4455, Yes, please do.....if we march again. I haven't heard if this is going to be an annual thing. I hope so. We had a blast and it has been one of my most favorite events thus far.

Messing around with the bands while waiting to march was the best......some of the pictures are priceless!

Scott, dude...we need to talk about that TS.....

  4. I remember when D. Young tried to do this a few years ago. I'm game for a nice one. I am also a police officer. We currently use the shield badge but are switching to the LAPD style....you can fit more on the LAPD style and it does not look so dated as the eagle one.

Good luck, Sun Badge and the like definitely do not like doing these badges.

  5. It is VERY possible the blowing sand essentially sandblasted the weathering off the armor during the shoot and had to be touched-up for other scenes.

I was fortunate enough to be in a photoshoot with Braksbuddy (Art) at the Imperial Dunes in California in October 2007 and we learned how harsh the blowing sand can be.

My armor/boots had almost no weathering by the end of the day and his camera lense was ruined.

My banner is a pic from that shoot....the only Photoshoping was changing the color to greyscale, cropping, and adding the font.

    Thanks again Art :)
