  1. Does a Zippo use the same type of fuel? You wouldn't have to worry about holding the child proof thingy down.
  2. The more sandtrooper collectibles, the better. I hope Hasbro does an OTC Sandtrooper. Their sculpts for that line are pretty good.

    C3

Can't miss the group shot...I'll be there.
  4. Did you take the guts out of the power supply or leave 'em in?
  5. Better at building sandcastles too.

    TD ID #

No significance to my number...all the ones that meant something were already taken. I just picked several available numbers and 257 was what they gave me.
  7. TD 257's loadout... pauldron, BFG, E-11, shoulder ammo pouch, backpack. I can put keys and a wallet in a backpack box, but I need help getting to them. My voice amp and speakers are all in my helmet so thats not an issue. I don't have any prods, binoculars, or binders.
  8. the "Hyperspace members only" thing is only for a certain amount of time. If there are any left after that point, anyone can get them. Unfortunately I don't know how long that time period is.
  9. Looks great dude!! Now make it dirty. What are the parts you used?

    Ab plate

There are some good reference pix on this site in the photo gallery section. As far as a tutorial goes...if you're talking about sculpting and forming your own, www.studiocreations.com has an in depth tutorial for those brave enough to attempt it.
  11. I'll probably make another one soon...I didn't use the shim to aim the plate out, and it pinches sometimes, but not too badly.
  12. Flat pauldron....there's a joke there somewhere.
  13. I thought I saw something somewhere that said they were available to Hyperspace members only. That would be just plain stupid, and I hope thats incorrect.
  14. The shop at www.starwars.com currently has some silver Sandrooper figures available. Supplies are limited.

    Custom BFG's

Very nice!! Is there somewhere we can download the templates from?
  16. It's probably too late to go the threaded rod approach unless I want to significantly take the pack apart...and I don't. I've cut and bent some ABS strips to fit against the canister's upper sides and the plunger's bottom edge. I'm going to drill some holes and use rivets. Hopefully some strategic placement and additional weathering will hide any unsightliness. If I screw it up...then I'll try the threaded rod. The lights are cool. I put a flashing red LED in a recessed area near where the top and bottom half of the pack join.
  17. Awesome!! I like the details on the upper and lower left boxes. What are they? I'm also curious as to how you attached your lower cansister. I have to re-attach mine with something other than hot glue...it didn't hold as well as I had hoped. The weathering looks good...don't be afraid to "muck up" the clean white canisters.
  18. Don't forget tassels or fringe of some kind. If you could work fuzzy dice in somehow, that would be cool.
  19. Is that like "Pimp my Pauldron"?

    Custom BFG's

I just uploaded a bunch of pix of my custom Lewis-gun-esque BFG into the TD257 photo album. Is it close enough? Will this suffice as my BFG requirement? Yay or nay?
  21. I'm going to wait until I get the new ab plate and hand plates before I send the pictures...its just gotta look right eh?
  22. I have all four, the white and grey can have patches attached, and the black and orange for official/canon events.
