OH...ah...so does that me I am a bad girl for having both??? Silliness aside, is it then considered incorrect to have both an E-11 in a holster and a BFG in the hands?? Just wondering.

Ok it came up tonight talking with the boyfriend about "did all TD's wear pauldrons or not???" So is it really correct for a td not to have one or is he "out of uniform" ???

Count me in on this LOL It was halloween I had just put my new leather ammo pouch on my belt and rigged up my new handbacks, so this was the first time out and ya you guess it....the pouch popped off in the trunk on the way and the hand backs fell off during the party!!! But the upside, my new pack held up to all the abuse of being bumped and knocked around. Now I just have to fix those for next weeks troop It's ok Paul we love you!!!!! Katt

Well I just scanned Ebay till I found one that looked about right, it was used so it didn't have a brand name. Cost me a whole 5 bucks LOL So just hit ebay and look. A vented shift knob would look good too. I found a few on there after I got mine, figures Katt I found one on Ebay that looks like the one I used Item number: 7994121056 just type that number into the search box

OK I do not know about anyone else but I used normal craft paint, then clear coated it with a mat finish. It looks good. It is a nice dark grey. Use folkart or americana (spelled something like that) They have a nice range of colors and it's easy to find at any craft store. Katt

I made one and well having it be as long as it is suppose to be just doesn't work in crowds and buildings. So here is what I did. take your height and add one foot. I used a shifter nob and a copper pipe fitting for my shiney bit. On top is a screen for a faucet and a small brass ring that you can find in any craft store. They come in all sorts of sizes. And the dial was a bit I had laying around not ever sure what it was from ! And the rod itself is pvc pipe with another smaller one inside for support. In the end I hammered a dowl that the shiney bit fits over and has a set screw in. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I wish I could have made the shoot I have had my TD armor for a year now but due to up and down health issues as well as money or lack there of lol. I have only be able to be out a few times (that and the fact they are a 2 hr drive from me) You guys look good!! I miss my dirty pals!!! We need to go and do a coast photo shoot some time. I mean come on we have some real killer dunes and they are just an hour away from me. And being a former dunebuggy brat I know all the good spots!! I have the mic tips in my aerators and my mic roughly on the frown. I took the guts out of the amp I got from radio shack and it is also glued into the helmet. I have found that if I turn it on having it fairly low and then turn it up more once it's on my head, I do not get feed back unless I turn it up all the way. I'll dig out my camera and get some pics for ya. Katt

I had a set until I was able to get myself leather ones and I used pvc pipe inside to give my a more soild look. I dyed them using a spray fabric dye. They looked good and people always liked them. Katt

I used a real heavy canvas for mine. made a tube and pressed it flat. Worked great and looked good. Katt

Yea one of those cool hard pauldrons. But I am thinking about buying a whole new kit when I am able to. Be too much of a pain conveting my current TD over to black. I'd have to take off all the dirt, replace all the velcro, and sand down my helmet. Still haven't decided if that is what I am going to do. Oh and the black would be a flat black not glossy. I fear it might be a wee bit warm on sunny days too.
