  2. The WW2 collector part of me is very very green!!! You luck sob
  3. Thanks *sign* if only I was build like my avatar LOL my boyfriend wouldn't complain

  5. oh yea just a little! LOL Moss here growns on all sides of the trees!!!!
  6. yea most carry a repair kit like I do. So you are bound to be ok as long as you got velcro and glue lol!!!!
  7. I attached mine to my pack strap with a clip and have velcro on the back to keep it from sliding around. (finally got a pic of it to show you lol) http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y38/ro ... /pouch.jpg
  8. Ok I guess those Washington guys too
  9. Well you know the Omega wing has squadrons. They are still part of the Omega wing, but they are little sub groups. Maybe that kind of idea would work for us? I think it woud be cool to have an Oregon patrol. We have a good number of Sandies in the state. Katt
  10. I had a terrible time with my thigh pieces always slipping down, so I added to the belt set of suspenders because the belt alone just wasn't working. It works pretty well now. Does adding the foam to keep them from twisting make those pieces a bit hotter to wear??? And are you talk about the foam weather stipping for that? Katt
  11. I heard you there friend, I use to wear 16ga steel Roman armor at events, so the gear for a TD is a cake walk in comparison!! LOL I made my own pack and it turned out to be pretty light. But after about 4hrs it does seem to gain more weight. Ok this is a total girl thing but, it's just like wearing sexy high heels, they might hurt the feet but boy, the guys sure like them so it is worth a little bit of pain! But I do fully understand those with health issues,(lord knows I have more then I need ) so I agree too that you have to have it, not always troop with it all. It's really a personal call when it comes to that. OK I'll go and be quite now .
  12. Yea I kind of thought that might be the case. I still might grab a set for non cannon events. Thanks for the info though. Katt
  13. Thanks! That is why I moved here, I am from Montana, which is wonderful country too, but I can't stand snow. LOL I need to head out to the coast when it is nice and get more pics. Our coast is very pretty and our Heceta Head lighthouse is the most photographed in the state. I know it's off topic, sorry about that, but here is a link should anyone want to know more. http://www.oregonstateparks.org/park_124.php
  14. Ok, I have the funky cheese grader looking ones, they look pretty good but I have heard that snowtrooper handbacks work too. I like them because they are more fitted to the back of the hand. So is that the case and if so does anyone know where I can get a set, pm me please Katt.
  15. Hmm makes me wonder what ours would be. Our beaches aren't always warm and sunny, just ask Rob LOL Right?? But when it is nice our beaches rock!!!! Hey Rob should we do one?? Here is some links that gives you an idea what it would be to run on our beaches http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y38/ro ... ast001.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y38/ro ... ast015.jpg
  16. As soon as I quit spending money on armor and buy the kit, plus sweet talk Dad to do the pan for me I will. LOL Katt
  17. I too am about 5'6" My boyfriend the TI is 6'2" we look real goofy together I think . Here is a pic of us together at Halloween and yes I know I have no handbacks they fell off shortly after we got there, I was soooo mad and both ammo pouches fell off too, that was not my night http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y38/ro ... per534.jpg Oh and a small note I have done some changes on the armor so it looks a lot better now then it did at that time
  18. Cool I grew up pounding the sand in my dad's dunebuggies. The crazy old man build 42 total over the years, sometimes I wonder about him LOL. I would like to get a white Fiber Jet glass buggy and add the imperial cogs on it, maybe a MEPD decals on the sides. And I too am glad your wife is ok. I hate it when things like that happen. Katt Here is what the kit looks like BTW. Dad made a green metalflake one it rocked
  19. I don't mind the BFG requirement, I think it is a good idea but, if I remember way back when I joined if you had a dewback prod didn't that work as well?? It's been a while since I asked so I don't remeber for sure. I have a fan made lewis gun, but I plan to get a mg42 when funds allow My big pet peeve when it comes to TD's is the drop boxes!! Drop them!! I have seen a few supposed TD's out there and they have them. In my personal opinion you are not a true TD if you still have them, but hey that's just me. Katt
  20. Yea I am too much of a junk store nut! But people tend to give you odd looks because so are so excited about finding a ugly yellow tupperware pitcher or an odd piece of something. LOL
  21. Ha ha ha I had this feeling I should go to the thrift stores today and look for one, guess what? When I was about to give up I noticed another area they had, that had a whole bunch of pitchers and pots, to my surprise there was this ugly yellow pitcher with this wonder lid on it!!! I was so excited and better yet it was a whole 99 cents!!!! Time to toss out that dumb sherbert lid and put the right one on!!!! I'll post pics of my pack when I get it all done. It was done in october, but I just paint the whole thing black so I could use it at Halloween, so now I am taking my time and detailing it to make it look better. Katt
  22. you are truely an artist!! Those look great!!!!!! Master replicas eat your heart out!!!!! Katt
  23. Looks better then what I had to use, a sherbert container lid!!LOL I search all the junk stores in town looking for a dumb tupperware lid and couldn't find one!! The lid I used looks ok but I am sooo picky I want it to look better more movie correct But hey that looks real good, I like it, good job!!! Katt
  24. And non-cannon too lol !! I'm so bad Thanks Guns
