  1. Cool, I figure we'll have a few kinks in the transition, just wanted to make sure it wasn't me.
  2. Has anyone else had poblems while trying to add photos to their gallery? I'm doing it just like I did in the past, but I'm getting an error message "cannot create thumbnail" any advice?
  3. Looks good, maybe add a little to the chest plate. Overall, nice and filthy!
  4. Post-war pouches from marstar (presumably dimensions are consistent regardless, since the gun didn't really change) Approx 1 1/2"x1"x8" inside of each pouch.

    dirty

Impressive. Most Impressive, looks like my dirt's gonna get another layer.
  6. I also recognize that one as being from spacepacks, but don't think that name is in the URL, weren't they on some sort of costuming website?. I'll post the address if I remember what it is.
  7. Three seperate, fairly small pouches. I'll pm you dimensions tonight. Too small for the voice amp. You may want to consider a custom pouch to put a voice amp in.
  8. We have 77 users, how about yearly "dues" from members? that's only 2.34 a year, per person. And the more members, the less expensive it would be. Okay, with that said I need to go set up a paypal account.
  9. Okay, so the post office is still open, and theres no parade, but on my star wars desk calendar there is a picture of a sandtrooper for 10/7. So I thought "why not make it a holiday" I will make it so by going home and drinking and then, I will work on some prop blasters. (ow, my thumb!) Peace, Love, and DIRT- Seth

    Hello

The answers may vary from troop to troop, but here's mine: 1. Hinged codpiece/very carefully 2. not much 3. hinged codpiece/hold it 4. cpu fans in helmet/ the right undersuit 5. ?
  11. I Definately agree w/ motman, ebay pouches tend to fetch $50 a piece, I got a pair (of the post-war pouches) from marstar for less than $40.
  12. I could put a citation together, any requests for content? Once done I could get it printed in pads & make them available to everyone. If anyone is interested please pm me. Regardless of interest levels, I have no problem doing a citation and making it a printable file. However, to get pads printed I would want to make sure there is a reasonable demand for them.
  13. The 501st group is currently capped, but there is a secondary group that has been opened in case more spots become available.
  14. Alright! another sandtrooper on my home team. Congrats on taking the dirt plunge!
  15. I know the first time i donned my armor i barely lasted two hours due to having next to no mods (couldn't negotiate the stairs) and being real friggin hot. Anymore though it feels as if i could go on as long as i want (now however, i can sit down, amongst other things). It really doesn't set in (for me anyway) until i take it off and i realize how sweaty and sore i am from lugging around all the extra weight. But yes, water, lots of water!

    Quiet

Thought I'd post something, seeing as the boards are kinda dry the last couple of days. Is everybody busy watching the DVDs? Those sandtroopers never looked so dirty! Whats everybody working on? Is everybody gonna be armed to the teeth w/ bfg's and incrusted with filth for C3? I'm just counting down the days, 6025 out.
  17. eep! an unfortunate loss. Thanks for the awesome MG34! Best wishes
  18. Actually, a real cheap candle would probably work really good. (chincy ones usually smoke more)

    C3

I'll be there thurs/fri/sat, for what thats worth. So, I'm up for whatever.
  20. Specially trained in sweating. A lot.
  21. Nice, I love the "basic" labeling on everything. Very cool.
  22. Somehow i knew that my pauldron comments would cause the thread to degenerate. Oh well.
  23. I had problems with my black pauldron falling down flat, i stuck a wire hanger in the end of it (like an underwire in a bra) and bent it to the shape i wanted. Now it stays perfect, straight out and curved over my shoulder.
