I apologize for the late announcement of the details but the logistics have taken much longer than expected to iron out with the convention center, ReedPop, and LFL. Any questions or concerns please respond to this email. Hello everybody, we FINALLY have official details on the Galactic March at Celebration. Due to several logistical issues, we are unfortunately starting sign-ups for this event much later than anticipated. The Galactic March will take place on Saturday, April 13th at 3 PM. The parade will take place entirely within the building. Meet-up and then step-off. at the multi-club booth at 3 PM. Sign-up will be first come, first served at the link below. We will take the first 10 signups from each 501st and Rebel Legion detachment and 20 members each for MMCC, GA, DB, SG and TDE If you have access to a parade flag, we encourage you to bring it. Any other questions let me know and I will do my best to get them answered ASAP. Hey my fellow dirty dudes after seeing my fellow deployment officer Thomas´new Doopy build, I was so in for an upgrade of my own modded Doopy build. Here´s what it looked like at the beginning, it was indeed my very first E-11 build... and definitely a lot of room for improvement. Wasn´t very happy with the paintjob on the scope so I made a new one: But in the last weeks I completely reworked the whole blaster... wasn´t very easy to take it apart and sand it down. made a new trigger guard and scoperail: and added a lot of small details: also remodelled the backpart to emulate the original cast aluminum back with those seams: So the back was spraypainted in a silver colour while the rest of the blaster was spraypainted with a gunmetal and a light coat of chocolate brown and black. I then masked off certain areas to give it that used look with paintchips. Finally I gave it a new paintjob using the same wrinkle spray paint Thomas has already used in his build. I also added the wire wrapped in red cloth on the power cylinders. The counter is a real vintage Hengstler but has a plastic box at the front on which I have cut out the square in the middle. The mag is real too... with real wood! The cartridge ejection is made of metal bend and cut into shape... because only painting it silver wasn´t enough anymore. As I really want this to be the blaster of the Move Along Captain, I have also added the little greeblie on top of the scope... although I think that there might even be two of those greeblies according to the following picture. Hey Dutchy! Thank you. I'm pretty happy to start this chapter in my life. Always wanted to be a trooper! My daughter is 6, and in love with the costumes, and the idea of daddy being a trooper. She hasnt seen the movies yet, but I was 5 when I 1st saw episode 4,5,6,and I literally watched the movies almost every day until I was about 10. So I think it time for her lol. I joined my local garrisons forum yesterday, so ill be asking them and you guys a whole lot of questions! As for a kit. I'm looking into authenticprops. I would like ABS, I'm about 5',7", 155 lbs. Has anyone here delt with authenticprops here? Or have suggestions where to get a kit from? I would like it untrimmed.
