ghoulcinder@hotmail.co.uk
When looking through some TD scenes trying to spot some details, I ran into tape on the shoulder bell, however it only appears for like 3 seconds, and the next scene it appears to be gone, anyone got an idea? clonecollector
I think iconoclasta has this detail on his armor. I think you should also keep the same pouch and handplate configuration if you add this detail though.
ghoulcinder@hotmail.co.uk
I personally hadn't seen it before, might be a nice touch though (as weird as it sounds!)I haven't really look at the pouch configuration that much, I was actually looking at tube stripes at that moment
Dizzy
i like how the weathering was applied with the belt on, since its sagging he has a "tan line"
ghoulcinder@hotmail.co.uk
Hehe yes indeed, all those funny little details
iconoclasta_88
Yes, I have it on my shoulder. I love that gaffer's tape:) We think that it was a costume malfunctining that was dealt with gaffers tape between shots. You cam see in some frames the elastic showing under the pauldron. That elastic was probably what was supposed to hold up the shoulder bell. I learnt this detail from SirDave. He has it in his shoulder too. I have my whole armor full of little details like that. Gotta love replica costumes. Saluods. Ps. You can see it just a bit on this pict. The tape's square can be seen on the top left side of the shoulder bell. SID
I think that this tape is gluing a bell, the case.
ghoulcinder@hotmail.co.uk
Ah yes I see indeed, that looks great actually. I'm thinking of putting the tape on myself once I start building mine (eventually).
Smally
You'll see that the majority of troopers (especially in the UKG) are replicating this detail. Looking at the location of the tape, it appears to have been to hold the shoulder bell up but failed!
ghoulcinder@hotmail.co.uk
I personally hadn't seen it on any TDs yet, I personally quite like it.It seems like that indeed, not very successfully but I'm sure no one would notice it as long as you don't go through the scenes pausing it every second
